7th row center...Chris started saying, "you know ...sometimes.." and my bro shouted "SALVATION !!" Chris didn't even finish..he just cued the band into 'Sometimes Salvation', 'Black Moon Creepin' was awesome w/ Marc Ford.
This is one of a few bands I don't categorize in any genre. They are their own genre much like Zeppelin and Floyd in my opinion. Very unique and diverse.
@PFTome the only category I'd put these guys in is 'pure conviction' and that's the only category I care about when it comes to music or anything for that matter. Cheers man. and I agree with the 2 other bands you mentioned...good shit!
This is my favorite BC song!!! So GD powerful. I saw them last year at a casino in Laughlin NV. Lets just say that casino will never be the same again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Morning Song - The Black Crowes [Atlanta, Georgia]- 1992 - "Sure sounds like Led Zeppelin at times on this hard rocking song. Good first impression and it maybe the BEST on this CD." - The Southern Harmony And Musical Companion (Def American Records)-1992. NOTE: If you like this song check out these albums "Shake Your Money Maker-1990" and "Amorica-1994."
I have seen them do this live several times in Cincinnati and it is incredible. You guys should have seen Remedy Live with the flying trapeze girl on the stage and the 10 minute drum solo! Sick ass shit man!
This is my favourite Crowes track,i just completely lose my shit to it every time i hear it.Check out the acoustic version on newly released Croweology, turns into a full gospel stomp, unbelievable. This band over 20 years have never let me down, never made a bad album, never seen them play a bad gig.I am in a fortunate position to be old enough to have been along for the whole ride, have seen them on every UK/European tour they have done and now its my job to pass this on to others.Amen
