I don't think the diesel is there as a helper, that steamer is extremely powerful on its own. The amtrak is just there to supply power to the cars.

i seen that type of train in peru, if i have a way to record that from the VHS tape into digital i would love to upload it and show it to you, awesome train, i even like the wheel beams runnning around like that

@SpiritsoftheWolf you gotta get what's called a capture card. Basically a box that allows you to hook the RCAs from you vcr to your computer. it's how i got my vids of the royal British museum uploaded
