Freakin' A his name wasn't F. Melius ChrisJOHNson. His name wasn't Christopher Johnson. For some reason St. Olaf college has spread this mispronunciation. No Norwegian says it this way (I've asked many) the closest sound we have to the "ti" is a "Y" sound. So if anything his name is ChrisYOHNson. That's also not how it's said in English. If Melius had been a ditch digger no one would say ChrisJOHNson. Also everyone I've ever met who sang under Melius' son Paul J. says he didn't say it like that.
