Position the forklift then run it forward on the way up to stick the fork in the secret door. I just can not do it though! I need to see a vid of someone who can - maybe there is a trick to it?
i remember a bug where if u put the sythe in this door after this scene and leave it when u leave year 2 then in year 3 your stuck on the boat because you dont have your sythe

IIRC, a patch fixes it.
If not, you can use a program such as Moslo or CPU killer to decrease the speed.
