Thanks man. The only problem is that I ride a quad and I think that you would to have a serious "set" to attempt that climb on a quad even if the trail is wide enough. Next time I go out there I am gonna try to ride out to the base of it to take a look at it.
Turn in there and take that road down to a camping spot. When you turn down that road you will be facing the range with that hill climb about 20 miles out. It is the only big visible hill climb. Trail 44 will take you to the base or around the base. We went out at Christmas and the wind tore up out trailer lol. Let me know how you did! Hope you like pounding woops in 5th gear.... You can't let off.
I just went to Dove Springs for the 1st time yesterday and I gotta admit, it was off the hook! We rode all the way up to the snow level. This is Jawbone Canyon right? Do you have the GPS coordinates to this hill or happen to know the trail # to get there? Thanks.
Yeah It's Jawbone canyon. If you make a left on the 14 from tehachapi (58) and stay on it, you'll pass the jawbone canyon entrance on the left, keep going, you'll pass the dove springs entrance on the left, drive over the hill to the valley and you'll see an opening on the left to an entrance called "Jawbone Butterbret" or something similar.
