I was married for 7 years my ex pays child support without complaint, I have never asked for alimony I can support myself....I put myself through school, we share the costs of the children...isn't that the way it was supposed to be?

My husband is paying his ex-wife alimony and I don't even know why he is paying alimony to her. She is capable to get a full time job and SHE DID GOT A FULL TIME JOB. She lied to the judge about not able to get a job because of she is not even high school graduated. She is blaming it on my husband for not finishing her education long time ago and making him pay her alimony.

Don't ever get married. If you don't get married, they can't divorce you.

If they can't divorce you, you don't have to pay alimony.

If you must live with a woman, draft contracts, with penalty clauses, based on direct proportionate monetary contributions to the house. And/or ensure they have their own room/s yes... lease them their room!
