Didn't Walt Disney fashion snow white & Cinderella just like Glory? Did the Fleisher's share with Disney? Seems to me according to Wiki, they did stuff like that there sometimes. Way back when in '38 was different than selfish studio's today.

These CGI crappy movies they make today has no sense of a true ending to a story. This is a great fantasy movie! I remember feeling sad,but happy that Gulliver was able to get back home when I saw this with my auntie and cousins. We all cried. LOL

This was a great cartoon! I remember watching the very first Gabby cartoon, it was called King for a Day. I even named my neighbor after him lol.

I first saw this cartoon movie with my Mom when I was almost seven.I have seen it many times since and now have the video.I loved Gabby and the songs made a strong impression on me.I realize now that some of the kind of satire Swift used did get into this film.The two countries were fighting a war because they couldn't decide what song to sing at a ceremony?

as inspiring Gulliver is, he's still a very shallow character. He doesn't seem to have the internal struggles that other characters in the film have, (such as the Kings. i think the character animators did a fantastic job on them). the prince and princess are rather uninteresting, too. but it was a simpler time. escapism is much different now than it was back then.

I love this film, but i think we don't have to say bad thing about Disney, i like him too. Watch the old classic Disney's, Snow white,Fantasy 2000, Robin Hood, 101 little dogs etc, they are so good too.I agree that after Cinderella the style changed, and it isn't nice. Funny my sister tells me I watched this movie as a kid but I don't remember it at all.

It was a very wonderful, beatifully animated classic flim. I love Gullivers charecter very mush, how very kind he is and the lovly romance between Glory and David!!

Absolutely phenomenal! I showed this movie to my third grade students. They loved it! They were singing all the songs. Espeically "It's A Hap Hap Happy Day". They said they prefered this animation over the computerized versions being churned out now like Shrek and the like. This movie had all the endearing qualities: Love, humor,friendship, and adventure. I watched this movie with my cousins when I was young. A movie with a beautiful farewell ending.
