i was there for that bonfire. the school is RBCHS, or Richmond Burton Community High School. this was my junior year. the seniors really outdid themselves. they had couches and Johnsburgs jerseys in there. what a night.
Wow when I first saw it I thought, "that's a big fire." then I saw the zoom out and thought, "Bloody hell that's a massive fire!" Quite a sight indeed.
Aside from a structure fire, it was the biggest fire I had ever seen. They used old pallets to fuel it, and of course the fire dept. was present in case it got out of hand!
This was for a big football game. It is a celebration called homecoming, and they usually have a big dance at the school too. Most American high schools hold a homecoming celebration in the fall, but not all schools have a bonfire.
My Daddy was a bit of a pyro. I guess I inherited it. Too bad the sound didn't work, but I can imagine them. Fires are awe inspiring and can be quite hypnotic. It sure was a beauty! Thank you for sharing it.

Hi!
This was for a big football game. It is a celebration called homecoming, and they usually have a big dance at the school too. Most American high schools hold a homecoming celebration in the fall, but not all schools have a bonfire.
Thanks for watching!
