buy a folding bike that fits in a carrying bag, then bring it with you at all times. Only a mugger with a knife or a gun can take it from you.

Wow, I didn't know you could defeat some of these locks by twisting them until the tension breaks them. Great tip!

@Bukujutsu There is another trick, you break the bike stand of the bike,,, And wiggle it around the lock till it breaks.. :D

do what I do lock it up.and put a shocking device on it.trust me you can not get into trouble.electricly cargeing your bike.if they get shocked you will not get in trouble

I guess this goes to show you need like three hardened steel locks so someone will hopefully see the thief and scare them away or maybe the three locks will be seen as the path of most resistance. My lock could probably be cut in 5 seconds... :(

My friend's bike was just stolen and we live in a suburb. I do not get at all why someone would steal a bike in a suburb other than because its fucking hilarious.

@Fudala510 A friend lost his keys once and didnt want to leave his bike overnight. Luckly for him there was a construction yard nearby. He borrowed bolt cutters from them and cut his own chain. People were passing by, nobody responded.

forgett about all those pick a lock tutorials ^^ you go with thjose faster... and dont spend money on buying expensive pickset or dont make your own, just go and grab some tools out of daddys toolbox and go. if the locks to tricky go to next bike ^^ lol nice video
