  • omg genius

  • There is 4 people out there that watched this and have BAD hearing. 4 dislikes...hmmmmm

  • @rarebasses haha i hear ya, who stumbles upon this, or looks for it and has negative thoughts, doesn't make sense

  • The improvisational value displayed in this take equals the total of last 3 centuries combined.

  • wot a tune top notch

  • Sam Bush talks too much... not that funny

  • Flawless!

  • it is awesome to find legends of bluegrass on ONE STAGE!.....tony rice, jerry douglas, sam bush, barry bales, and dan tyminski. you can not beat that!

  • Watch Jerry Douglas carried away at 4:08( priceless) to find out what makes a musician so unique : Feel.

  • i have driven 250,000 miles around this country, and 150,000 of them have been with Manzanita in the tape deck. Great video. Thanks!

  • Indeed sir so have I

  • @danielweintraub I can relate Dan!

  • I see each of these guys several times a year with there respective bands but to get them togher like this is almost perfect...many thanks..if Tonys voice was back it would be bluegrass perfection!!!!!

  • Eclecticism at utmost taste and balance:

From Kentucky to Hungarian plains where gypsies roam(Darrol), from misty hills of Ireland to Cordoba, Spain via muddy banks of Mississippi.

  • Tony was around 26 years old when he recorded the "Manzanita" album back in 1977. I first heard this album from a relative 20 years ago. It is an amazing album. Streets ahead for it's time.

  • Thanks for sharing this great music in a great setting. Like Brubeck and Joplin, Rice's music will be treated like classical one day..

  • Already classical while he's still around.

Please always be around Tony !!!

  • Oh Toni, you are the best! I love Manzanita. It always takes me places I want to be. Awesome group. Loved it.

  • Oh, how I long for the days of him, Ricky, and JD Crowe.

  • Love it, love it, love it. Acoustic heaven.

  • as usual, jerry was utterly moving. who says there ain't no soul in bluegrass

  • the holy grail of all Tony and Sam songs! And THese guys Are among the top best musicians on the planet!

  • Agreed. Is this Teluride? What year?

  • rockygrass 06 Manzanita

  • These is some of the best Musicians on the planet !

  • Ima gonna use this joke on stage at our next show. If you see this comment Sam, is that ok to you? lol. Man what a joke!!! The song is beautiful!!! If anyone has ever tried out the chord progression for this song, it is incredible, too. Wyatt explains it on here (YouTube).

  • Manzanita- Probably my favorite traditional acoustic album ever. What a line up.
