Nice vid! I got thousands of hours in 210's, (used to be an air courier pilot) but haven't flown one in years. Never had any of the nice digital avionics like what I saw in the video, just straight analog ILS, VOR and ADF systems. Almost makes me want to get current again!
Not a bad video, but the music certainly kills it. A Cessna 210...even a turbo 210 is NOT a fighter. Next time you make a video...please dont even consider any type of music with it. It just makes everything lame.
@BBFjetboat Yeah, I was just kidding around. I actually took my lessons in a Cherokee 235 in 1978. It was my dad's plane and even though it's nowhere near a trainer, it was as easy to fly as any trainer I've flown. And had more than enough power to get you out of trouble. Have never flown a 210 but would love to
as the old saying goes second engine carries you to the crash seen better if your not current ifr s perfectly safe in either a single or multi engine aircrraft the big concern is how current are you in ifr and ifr emergency procedures
I'm a student pilot and am looking to buy an aircraft with 6 seats and a decent range, i've done a lot of research on the 210 and really like it, but would anyone know by chance the average maintenance cost for one? i know it varies but just your basic annual?
Also if anyone knows a better suited 6 seater aircraft with relatively low maintenance costs i would greatly appreciate it considering I'm knew to the aviation industry.
The maintenance cost will be the lest of your worries. Being a low time pilot with a high performance complex airplane...the insurance will probably in the 5 figure range. You need to get a 172 and log 2 or 3 hundred hours before you consider a 210.
well i'm 19, still in college for aviation sciences, and have a daughter, lol no way i can afford it at the moment but its my dad who wants to buy it so i can fly it for him, but he knows absolutely nothing about different types of aircraft so ive been trying to look up different information regarding costs.
whats wrong with flying IFR in a single engine? navigation would be the same as any other airplane, you need to watch the severe weather more but other then that its the same.
Very nice flying and editing! excellent radio work....it's too bad other pilots get annoyed with this song.

Took my lessons in a 210. Pretty easy to fly. Didn't have a lot of power but kind of fun.

@rrip1 Are you on drugs or don't know anything! Most 201's either come with a Continental 285hp or 300 hp . ------

@matt98stang
The cost of the plane plus about $200.00 an hour when you take insurance, fuel, maintanence and repairs into account.

IFR in a single engine? Crazy!
PRSOV 2 years ago
@PRSOV Se puede volar perfectamente IFR en monomotores, si tienen el instrumental y equipamientos adecuados y si el piloto está entrenado.
