Pretty athletic fusion of bellydance, ballet and step dance: the only part of the show that Flatley did not closely choreograph. Norris dances the role of Morrighan the temptress.
A most beautiful temptress indeed, and a fantastic dancer. I don't however see much sign of any bellydancing in her perfomance here, but she'd be one helluva temptress as a bellydancer.....:-)

When I was a little girl, I went to see Lord of the Dance with my family. We were in the front row. I had watched the video over and over again and loved the gypsy dance. When she came on, I got up and did the whole dance with her. They put me on the big screen instead of her! Then I got to meet her after <3 Haha! True story, how embarrassing!

What shes doing is soft shoe dancing which is what you learn first if you go to Irish dancing classes. The dancing tells a story which is why they move so much.
I fell in love in these dances 4 years ago. Whenever there are shows near Manchester I don't miss them. I've been to two shows now, each one was a bit different but I really enjoy the music and dances. They aren't like Feet of Flames, usually on small stages, but this is something you should see for yourself and you will never regret seeing the shows.
Shes such a great dancer....lol Im totally in love with her. Is she Irish? She looks so exotic. I love her confidence. I use to do Irish dance and umm yes you do keep your arms at your sides traditionaly but this is a SHOW....I hate people knocking others down or who dont know what they are talking about.

@oisina101 No, after she left the troop she dance for a short period in a show called Ragus. She left there went to beauty college where she was a top student. After that she return home and opened her beauty salon/spa in Kilmacthomas.

i realy like this show and the irish dance but i must say that i don't like to much her style... i think is better the other girl..in the "stolen kiss" or the "love" dance ...i think looks better...but it's my personal opinion..:D
I held my breath through this whole thing! Such grace! She leaps -- she flies -- she twirls - like it's nothing! But the thing that I noticed the most is the joy on her face - she was just having so much fun doing this dance! It was sexy, sensual as well as spontaneous! What an incredible dancer!
It isn't just performed sensuously but it also seems-to just ME maybe-that Norris is more
'In tune' as if she's found herself more as a dancer.Maybe I'm wrong but compare this one with the one from LOTD and that one seems more reserved than this one.
This is hands down my very favorite solo in the whole show! It's done sensually, but exquisitely tasteful. I have never heard music that fit the choreography so perfectly! And Gillian is beautiful in this part! Bravo!!!! Bellissimo!!!

I held my breath through this whole thing! Such grace! She leaps -- she flies -- she twirls - like it's nothing! But the thing that I noticed the most is the joy on her face - she was just having so much fun doing this dance! It was sexy, sensual as well as spontaneous! What an incredible dancer!

It isn't just performed sensuously but it also seems-to just ME maybe-that Norris is more
'In tune' as if she's found herself more as a dancer.Maybe I'm wrong but compare this one with the one from LOTD and that one seems more reserved than this one.

This is hands down my very favorite solo in the whole show! It's done sensually, but exquisitely tasteful. I have never heard music that fit the choreography so perfectly! And Gillian is beautiful in this part! Bravo!!!! Bellissimo!!!

The song is called Gypsy. It's on the original Lord of the Dance soundtrack, not the Feet of Flames soundtrack as I said just a moment ago.

The only number from the show that Flatley did not choreograph in full: he gave Gillian a free hand, in interpreting Morrighan the Temptress with a fusion of step, ballet and belly dance.
