People these days (me included) have such a short attention span. We all need instant gratification. I think this is due to the internet. It changed my life at the age of like 5. This may not be crazy by todays standards but this was 1990 for me. NO ONE my age had the internet, and very few people I knew even had computers. My dad wanted to change this for me.

She was only interrupting him because he goes on and on and she just wants to keep the interview lively. Her way of interviewing- blunt and mocking- works better with guests who can fire back and go with the flow; with Crispin, you just end up feeling bad for him. I LOVE CHELSEA

Okay, maybe this is how she always acts, and it's supposed to be funny, and maybe he knew that beforehand...but it's still easy to hate her in this case b/c of how totally sweet & humble he is. Crispin is so fascinating & wonderful, and she's...well, I'd normally never watch the ho! D: I would much rather hear him provide a couple of detailed, interesting responses than rush & give brief ones so he could get to more of her moronic questions. This Chelsea is "greasy"! This is the first time I EVER saw her, and I find that all she is; is a wide mouth attempt at being a talk-show host. Nothing more than another Star Jones in the making. Disapproving of anything different and new and it is written all over her,.... as if she hates her job. Crispin, if you read any of this, I can tell you, you are just different than ANY of the stuffy actors out there. I LIKE what you do, and I find it more art form. You just keep doing your thing and forget these late night mouthy hosts looking for attention and control!

Continuously interrupting with nothing substantial to say.. usually it is funny, but Crispin looks genuinely nice, intelligent and interesting, and in contrast with her other, less intelligent, guests, I actually wanted to hear him out and not her rude comments.

I think people are being unfair to Chelsea here. I don't find her particularly funny or likeable myself but at the end of the day she PLAYS a bitch on-screen. That's her character. You tune in to see how much of a cunt she can be to a guest. I like Crispin, and I think she does, too-hence her 'we only have six minutes' thing at the end there. It was like an apology for being a cunt to him, as part of her CHARACTER. That's all it is, really. If she really was a cunt she wouldn't have done that.

Yeah, I agree. Watching this was actually painful, I had to turn it off a couple of times. I don't enjoy seeing a guest ridiculed and mocked in so obvious a fashion. Her pathetic little "gee, you're so interesting, I wish we had more than 6 minutes" is such bullshit. She could barely comprehend what he was even saying (not that she bothered to listen) and couldn't wait to get him out off stage and out of there. Pathetic, she really missed out on something interesting.

Here, he appears to me to be visibly anxious and uncomfortable (can't say that I blame him, considering the treatment he's receiving). He's too classy to tell her to go to hell. Personally, I was ready to climb through my television set and punch her lights out. :)

Crispin is a lovely person and intelligent as hell (not to mention sexy). He has a mild form of autism, which is why some people perceive him as "rambling" in some of the posts here. Chelsea mistreated him badly and behaved like a guttersnipe. I found this interview beyond rude, it was downright cruel. She behaved like a cheap schoolyard bully, while Crispin was a complete gentleman.

Yes, he does. This is like watching school bullies torturing someone they deemed "weird - made me cringe then and still does. The trouble with aspies is difficulty picking up on sarcasm, and so they tend to respond to such comments literally sense (as evidenced throughout the interview). He's brilliant, but is visibly anxious here, compared to other mellow venues that put him at ease. There's a fine line between funny/sarcastic and just plain obnoxious. :)
