  • Did you even put water conditioner after you put that sink water in?? :O

  • Just curious... why are rocks used in tanks?

  • your tank is too small for your fish, I feel sorry for them..

  • cant quite make out the name of the gravel cleaner that you have there . can you message the brand name of it please. i'd like to get one just like it. seems so easy.

  • @lowlow0051 Python Gravel Cleaner. All pet stores sell them. I sell them at my pet shop for $49.99 and $11.00 shipping.

  • what if u only have a 1 gallon tank

  • @sk8tergurl0400 Well thats a good question. In that case I would have to ask you a question. What kind of fish do you have in a 1 gallon tank? a male betta? If this is the case. I would have two of the one gallon tanks. One that the fish lives in and another that ready to go. 1) take the new one gallon tank and have it cleaned and ready to go. When its time to clean of the other tank, fill it with the same temp water. Place the fish in it. Use stresscoat. You will have no issues.

  • what about declorinator

  • Good...:)

  • Does it treat the water that it pumps back in? Also if u use the regular method, the wAste water is a great plant fertalizer

  • Nice video

  • @vibushan10 nope, it just delivers the water. You must add StressCoat.

  • i think your tank is too small for all those big fishes in there :(

  • Is that the Marineland 60 gallon? If so, I have the same tank. I noticed you put tap water directly back in tank, I thought you had to condition it , in a bucket, before doing that. However, this is a great video, Im going to take your advice. Please advise me on the water change, with the tap water.

  • @lassdymestndg718. You can do it both ways. If you put new water in you should use the water condition right after. just dont wait as you fill up the tank just add the drops and you will be fine. At my pet store we drain all the tanks 25% of the way, then we fill up each tank as we go we place in the drops in the water and all the tanks are perfect and no fish loss.It 100% works for over 88 tanks with no issues.

  • I really like your video. I invented the new Happy Fish Powered Gravel Vac. My product doesn't waste any water when cleaning!

Please check out the website for wrightway aquarium products, LLC and watch our video. Thanks

  • when you do this your putting in water straight from the sink right? that water will kill your bacteria

  • @FishHib 100% OK.

  • Whats the exact name of this cleaner ?

  • Very nice aquarium and good tips!, really helpful and informative! Id like you to see my fish, may I add u on facebook?

  • Do you prefer gravel over sand ? Also what kind of gravel do you use ? It looks like bits and pieces of a lot of different things.

  • hey, that's a great tool! i was wondering, do you have to connect it to a faucet? also, instead of the sink, can i just put the drained water into a bucket cuz my kitchen is pretty far lol?

  • that is to cool.... i wish i can get one of those but i have a 10 gallon tank and darn but it is ok i already have one

  • i hope my tinfoils get that beautiful...how old are they?

  • This is the process that the fish will learn , in time, that happens. Sure the first couple of times this may scare, or stress the fish out , as with anything that is new of differant to a fish. Over time the fish will learn that this is a very normal process and will actually come right up to you, as they learn that this is in no way harmful. Always feed the fish when your done a little and this makes them feel ok when done.

  • Does this stress the fish?

  • Does this affect the bacteria that you gained during cycling your tank?

  • @GreggGreggson Thats why you only remove a small amount 25% of the water. You will removing most of the waist and very little good bacteria.

  • Tin Foil Barbs. some people call it Red Tail Tin Foil Barbs.

  • r those big fish colombian tetras?

  • I got one of these and cant even use it and the part to use it is like 10 bucks.

  • Do you reccomend a filter coming from the bottom opposed from the top?

  • @diffitt Sorry I dont understand your question

  • where does the debris go ?? if it has no where to drain?

  • @bayxtb Into the sink, before he gets done and reverses it to fill the tank back up.

  • @bayxtb into a bucket and then in your sink...

  • lol 1:22 its nice and easy to clean

  • i owned a python for like a month now and had no idea it could suck lol i thought that switch was for testing to temperature before u let the water go in the tube lol

  • but after u clean the gravel and then reverse the flow, then u get the untreated water in the tank, I mean untreated with some chemicals for removing the heavy metals and chlor dyoxide?

  • @dencolitis Yah that was my thought as well. It would be returning untreated water to the tank unless it has some sort of filter built in to remove it as it goes into the tank but I doubt it. I would only use it to clean the gravel and then manually put clean, treated water in afterwords.

  • this is so cool! makes it fun to clean my tank now haha :) thanks a lot

  • wow! That's awesome makes it easy to clean your tank. I really enjoy all your video's thanks for sharing.

  • nice does this use a pump or vacum
