  • the lowy institute by proxy.their gone to get their orders, evans not even an aussie how is that. And what are the unions doing supporting immigrant scab labour for the past 20 years and supporting the destrution of the working class with free trade agreements or secret UN teaties

  • What happened after episode 23?

  • The Director-Generals and Secretaries of Commonwealth Departments run the country. Ministers make the decisions to which the Departments run on; and the Government is contacted if advice is needed.

To the guy in the video; if you're such an intellect that has a deep understanding of politics as you say, have you ever thought about running for Parliament to put your views on the national table?

  • BJ again I agree , Chris Evans? typical labour all care no responsibility.

    -dom

  • Personally I prefer our pollies visiting other countries to invading them...

  • What a stupid redneck FUCKWIT you are...this isn't informed commentary on Australian politics...it's the narrow-minded mental noodlings of a disempowered talkback-radio inspired Knob!!! Listen and laugh!!! LOL

  • i always find it funny when the "A" typical labor voter comments on my videos...foul mouthed and unintelligent...go back and watch summer heights...politics is not your strong suit...bye bye..thanks for dropping in.

  • Likewise Boofhead...politics isn't your strong suit either...the difference? I don't put my (in your opinion) semi-literate opinion out there...and what is this whole ' "A" typical labor voter' thing anyway, not since the '70s has either Liberal or Labor been a real alternative to the other...get with the times mate! Your beloved Johnny was just continuing the work laid out for him by the previous Labor Govts albeit in a more mean-spirited manner...OH and you're still a Fuckwit LOL!!

  • hahaha...i hope u work at some meaningless manufacturing job and loose it just like all rudd voters have in victoria...as i said before go look at summer heights...that seems to be your only favorite videos...i dont even know why i bother...

  • Well hope away loser LOL... If I was to 'work at some meaningless manufacturing job' I would still be engaging in something more meaningful and profound than your bitter, half-baked and dimwitted blatherings...And you bother because you're a reactionary DUNCE, you have nothing better to do.... the weakening of a Mind continues LOL

  • You couldn't run a turnip cart in an Egyptian Bazar. Let alone our beloved Australia.

Wash your mouth with the Solvol Mr Randall.

O Lord have mercy on Us!

  • who cares what you think...thanks for commenting on the CONTENT...DONT WASTE YOURS OR MY TIME POSTING ...ANOTHER LEFT WING FOOL THAT WILL FOLLOW THIS IDIOT RUDD OFF THE CLIFF...

  • but who cares what you think? you're poisoning the internet...

  • amazing yet ANOTHER LEMMING...I TELL THE TRUTH..WHAT PART OF THIS IS UNTRUE AND I AM POISONING THE INTERNET???????...JUMP OFF THE CLIFF WITH THE OTHER LEMMINGS

  • Actually, when Howard was overseas, it wasn't Costello running the country - it was whoever was the leader of The Nationals at the time. Being a coalition, if the leader of the Nationals was also out at the same time (which did occur several times), then the deputy leader of the Liberal Party would be running the country. Next you would have the Deputy Leader of the Nationals. So what you speak isn't the truth...

  • only the dumb and very stupid defend this man and his so called government...perhaps your both

  • There's a difference between defending and correcting misleading information. The only thing I think I have been stupid in is not realising that you're actually just a parody and that I have bothered to argue with you - though I do find your stuff funny now that I realise. Keep it up!

  • not sure if that is a backhanded compliment but the FACT remains that not since 1916 has the prime minister and the deputy been out of the country at the same time...THANK YOU!!

  • I'm not entirely sure where you're getting your facts from. However, never before has the economy worked on such a global scale that would warrant such an occurance. Perhaps Howard should have travelled more - might've improved our export markets instead of diminishing them? My point was, however, that you don't even understand the workings of the party you so vehemently support.

  • See my other posts (e.g. emissions trading). You have no response to any technical arguments and this is because you DO NOT UNDERSTAND politics or economics in the first place. You spout doom and gloom catch phrases and then criticize the government about these type of catch phrases all because you can't criticize their policies on a technical level. Instead, you rant on about 'facts' you read because all you can actually do is regurgitate what you see with your own narrow minded perception.

  • You believe that it is an indisputable fact that Howard weakened our export markets and didn't improve them. I also love how you attack people for their lack of understanding. It can't possibly be clear to you how the world works because you are leftist, which basically means that you will first disriminate between right and wrong, and then once you have identified the wrong position to take, you will avidly defend it. Rewritten any history recently?

  • You are a Right Winger, who consistently generalises people into neat little baskets. See? That wasn't a response at all, it was just a blind accusation of which political persuasian I tend to and then accusing me of being revisionist. I think it is difficult for a government to improve the Current Account Deficit. However, it was a major criticism from Howard of Keating, then it increased during his tenure. If you have read any of my posts, you will see that I'm not actually a leftist.

  • I do not believe that it is an indisputable fact that Howard weakened the export markets. I do think the Coalition Government may have neglected them somewhat though, as is the Rudd Government. My frustation with posts like yours and Weakening of a Nation is just that they are blind accusations which show no understanding of politics or economics. If I am wrong, show me? Give me a relatively in depth and technical argument about a current policy - use mine on the ETS as a starting point.

  • ????????????

  • ???????

  • Yeah i noticed that myself the other week that there was no one of significance at home to deal with domestic issues. I was not impressed!

  • amazing isnt it and nobody talked about it!!

  • each time we have a %age rise in the mortgage rate WHO GETS THE %age rise??? the banks who control your mortgage of course so each time we have a rise we grow poorer and the banks grow richer so almost every month the reserve bank gives it's mates a present of more of our hard earned cash so the banks dont want a drop in inflation they would lose their .25% gift each month i believe the time has come for an audit on the reserve bank and the government as well 12 rises since 2005 and no effectyet

  • oh yeah its the evil banks fault no doubt. they should simply not raise rates. I think that it should be labor policy to break up the banks and bring them back into government ownership. plenty of lefties think like this, why not say it, should you copy the liberal party forever, maybe we should have state run water again, or maybe we should buy back telstra so we can once again pay 40 cents for a local call. come on guys tell us what you really think, just like Dean Mighell does.

  • Ok, you so obviously can't buy back Telstra now. But there should, I believe, be some public ownership of the infrastructure. What kind of moron sells a company into the public market just so it can be the next best thing to a monopoly? Put simply, Telstra just picks and chooses whichever market place it wishes and leaves the rest to compete over the other areas - Howard really did not understand telcos.

Also, do you not find the privatisation of water a paradox at all?

  • this video says it all we have been RUDDERLESS for about two months of the six months he has been in power and he will be off again to China for the Olympics

in the meanttime our nation is being taken over by the new world order as another major American supermarket has been given LEAVE to trade in our country further weakeningthe trading strength of our small supermarkets. Here in our NATION our farmers are ploughing their cropsinto the ground while irradiated overseas garbage is allowedin

  • i didnt remove them

  • where are my comments regarding the new world order in Australia this censorship must stop and stop now we as australian citizens are having our freedom of speech removed by the Rudd government farfax media controls 87 radio stations throught Australia they control 15 television stations and this government we have is allowing them to buy more our DIGGERS died that we might have freedom of speech and the right to speak our minds but now we are being controlled by a bunch of greedy morons

  • lol, Yoy seem like a nice bloke, 10 points, :)

Well, the banks run the country my friend. Rudd could fix all the problems, stop all the interest rates crippling people and fix most problems in 10 seconds by shutting down the corrupt and privately run central banking system, putting the power to coin money and control is value into the hands of Government where it belongs, and stop allowing banks to create money as debt from thin air. No central banking system = no interest rates. Simple.

  • "I may be running the country one day..."

Well you can't do much shitter than the job that's currently being done so Godspeed to you!

  • LORD HELP US IF THAT DAY EVER COMES!

  • SEE MY COMMENT BELOW ...LEMMING

  • So, you need to be in the Country to run it? I'm pretty sure that no politician actually runs the country. Public Servants in Federal Government departments do. Politicians like PM Rudd get called if decisions need to be made.

Do you actually think he or any other Prime Minister has sat at a table and 'ran a country'? For gods sake.

  • sir, you appear intelligent. I ask again, are you jealous? Kev is in & that's that! Get over it & GIVE ME SOME ANSWERS! I agree with everything you say bro' but when are you going to help us all? Just give me 1 new idea.. can you do that for me??

  • Rudd 'fluffing his feathers' lol! luv it! and speaking of Swanny.. he hasn't had much to say lately has he. I think maybe he's being kept under wraps, so his ignorance wont be so apparent, and voters wont get to see what a dill we have as treasurer!

  • first class again keep in there

  • thanks
