Yeah; but the female vocals are a LOT better. The male ones sound like he's forcing himself to sound like that; making it sound really cheesy and emotionless, where as the female ones are effortless and more dreamlike, which imo is what makes this song good...

@JamesAndeh that's just the way his voice is, same as the girl, she has a somewhat high and breathy voice which is what gives it the ethereal sound, whereas the guy has a more nasaly voice, on top of that he is articulating his words to make it easier to understand. Add that to the fact that he's trying to sing a little lower than his vocal range and you'll get a sound like that. Don't always blame the singer for the way he/she sounds, it's often just the way they were born.

When I first heard this in Dissidia, I HATED it. I thought WTF KIND OF BATTLE MUSIC IS THIS??? But now, I play it all the time, simply because the underlaying themes are so epic that I can ignore the vocals. And when your having epic battles, you can barely hear the vocals ANYWAY.
