dont buy dell! ive had 3 laptops from them and all 3 are falling apart. first the screws come out and then the hinges break then the screen gets the blue lines. dell have a terrible customer service since they are based in india. i advise you to go look for another ultrabook.
@MrWtfstfu Well I've had a lennovo whose screen went blank after 11 days! I had a HP Pavillion a nightmare for overheating/graphic card issues. I had a Dell once a number of years ago had a problem and got a refund. In an ideal world this is far from my perfect laptop but combining price and spec this is where I've come. They all break down after time! but well said and i take your point!
@linneawable Depends which kinds of games you are talking about if you are planning to play Call of Duty, Need For Speed, etc. you will not be able to play those. Because the graphics card is very weak but if you try playing lite games like Plants vs. Zombies or some we browser games. It should be able to play those :-)
For me 14 inch is the ideal size laptop portable and a fully functional laptop that can do a bit of everything. I am considering buying this but also considering the acer timelinex 4830t with a very comparable spec.
In an ideal world neither would be my first choice but combining power and price these are my enforced options. Acer versus dell in terms of support??
The laptop is excellent for carrying around since it comes in a smaller size than the usual. It can also be hidden when carried so that burglars don't suspect. I pretty much would buy it compared to others.
in general i am skeptical about a system this small. The specs are pretty good for its size, if I tried it I think I would find it higher than my expectations, but still not providing the speed I require. I like the features though
Does this laptop generate much heat with daily usage? I mean I figured since this was a thinner laptop that heat might be an issue at some point.
