wow! in the philippines, we have what we call champorado - a favorite dish. it is chocolate rice (yes rice!) porridge with sweetened milk too. here's the kicker - we think it is best eaten with salted sun-dried fish. that's what happens when the mexican champurrado becomes an asian champorado.

Just curios what part of mexico your husband is from? I know every state has a different technique in making things but pretty much the end result is the same. I was taught to make the champurrado a little different but with the same ingredients. I think your recipes are great keep them coming!
