  • You should cover the original demo ;D VERY nice :3

You put my TMBG covers to shame.

  • @Suziessoliloquy No way, sis! Your covers are fantastic, listened to them many times. Also like your original songs in a tmbg stylee. BTW do you also get loads of mail querying your British accent on TMBG songs? I get two or three a week.

  • @astralbee Wow I didn't know you had! :') I hadn't even actually dreamed of covering TMBG until I stumbled upon your channel after first getting into the band (your Montana cover alerted me of State songs, incidentally) and thank you so much! I can't say I get those queries, I don't get loads of views anyway so I don't think people really tend to pick up on it :3 I've recently gotten complaints at my deliberate misattribution of Can't Keep Johnny Down after my video was featured on there site ∂x

  • I think I really like this song on piano. Can't replace the sacred accordion, 'course, but that's not the point. The point is that you're really good! =-D

  • Loved it, thanks for posting!

  • nice piano playing

  • this is no good. cant see your left hand.. you are great, but i am not learning anything from it..

  • Sweet video. And nice job adapting to YouTube's new 16:9 ratio! :D

  • i love the lyrics to this song sooo much.

    great job man

  • Woah man, 2 new videos in one day. Your on a roll, and I'm somewhat addicted to NO!, something about the flair it has cause it was ment for kids, I don't know. XD I really like this song, but this is one of the rare TMBG songs I have a bit of trouble understanding.

  • Trouble understanding it... lyrically? Apparently at the time Linnell wrote the song (which was years before 'No' - it previewed on Dial-A-Song with quite different, darker lyrics) there really was a broken clock on the corner of 5th and 22nd that was stuck on 1:56. "Four of Two" was a way of telling the time that I had never heard before... just figured it was a NY thing! But the person in the song doesn't realise the clock is broken, thats the twist in the story. :)

  • Calling 1:56 Four of Two is definitely a New York thing. Gotta love us. ^_^

    Great rendition!!

  • You hear "four til two" or "four to two". I always just say "one fifty-six." Only times I say til or of are on the quarters.

  • Good Goobley Goop, that was awesome. I swear, you keep picking my TMBG favorites on purpose.

Is that the "Bed Bed Bed" book I see there?
