Thats not cold. We have -15 or -20 degrees Celsius and you still have to get engine started. Buy a new battery and winter-oils, no problem. Greetings from Finland.

@ThePetr34 It's not the export variant for western Europe. It's the standard fare sold in eastern Europe, which as far as I know does not differ from the domestic USSR car.
@govedata ..when u say lights...long beans?...what is this...i know low bean and high bean...but no long bean...by the way i have a ziwili(y wrote like it the car show) from 1977 my grampha buyed it in canada 30 years ago and gess what??..still runing..i use it all weekend here in florida

Miss the old times... when car weren't got RPM meter... aww! My grandfather was bought VAZ 2101 (same as LADA 1200S) directly from russia (the manufacturers), and that car was a legend - he had it for 30 years!! But.. after 30 years braking system were completely DOWN, and replacing that would was not a good idea... So he got now AUDI 80 B2
1988 is the model and registration year - I think it was one of the very last 2101s. Which lamps should I change? Handbrake, battery, oil pressure, turn signal, headlights, long beams all work. Low fuel goes on and off when low on petrol but I could be missing something.
