@melodeath95 If you listened to good rap music you'd realise that you're wrong. There are ALOT of talented, thoughtful and inspiring rap artists who write great lyrics. The reason you don't hear them is the very same reason most people don't hear insomnium. Intricate, thoughtful music doesn't make it to the mainstream.

I'm not saying you have to like rap, that's a matter of taste. Just don't be so narrow-minded to think that all rap is gangsta, mindless horseshit.

That is partly true, though a little taken beyond truth.

Most rap artists that are less mainstream are usually talking trash about "the system" (widely speaking), prove me wrong. Most of what they rap about, and how they do it, are far from as artistic as you make it seem.

Really, most people who put some thought into it could write rap. I'm not saying it's not demanding, but it's easily possible.

This, however, is not possible to write with only some thought put into it.
