  • sooo sick! gotta little puke on my shirt this is so awesome!

  • AMAZING! It sounds great! Just out of curiosity, though, would adding the Q effect to parts in 0:43 to 0:51 have screwed it up?

  • I wish this version was in the actual game.

  • You're the man. This is far more epic than the original.

  • 240p = HD

  • I must ask How the hell do you record sound to mp3 or something. Screen capture and sound. Can you make a tutorial on how to get famitracker sound to mp3?

  • @TechnoMetalDude

    youtube to mp3

    google it.

  • this makes the origional sound like sh*t.

  • lol do While You See A Chance by Steve Winwood

  • What program is this?

  • @moopMASTER2000Films FamiTracker

  • @moopMASTER2000Films It's called Famitracker, and it's free. This same guy has a tutorial up on his channel about how to use it that I've found really helpful so far.

  • You made this song good.

  • I heard Megaman is dying.

  • I think it's pretty bad ass. I'd like to see any of these a-holes talking down on this do a better rendition.

  • 8BitDanooct1:

    Internet tested,

    Chuck Norris approved,

And Bi-Winning like Mr. Sheen himself.

  • fuck yeah

  • Holy shit, dude. Send shit to capcom, get to do a bigger title game's soundtrack like Virt

  • Any chance of getting a .NSF?

  • This is a "Ultraman 7" cover, rather than a MM2 Wily remix. ^_^;; Just compare and take your conclusions.

  • will be ready in a WILY? ;p ;p

  • COOL, BUDDY! There will be a mp3 download link? =) This is really nice!

  • @ align and rushjet and danooct

This is basically what I meant. Harmonizing above the main melody is fine so long as the harmony is at a lower volume relative to the main theme since the ear is more sensitive to higher frequencies. In this case you have to really listen hard to hear the lower one, which is the primary melody. If it is a remix and you are experimenting in that sense it is fine, but seeing as the bass line is identical to the original I think first listeners don't expect it

  • well I think it's well done, but am sick of this song :3 but you already knew this. I agree with Alignn, the tones are odd from :21-:33 probably just because you're harmonizing above the lead instead of below it.

  • "How to become a epic song a lot LOT MORE EPIC!" by 8BitDanooct1

  • OH MY GOD.

I WASN'T EXPECTING TOO MUCH EPICNESS HERE.

    *dies of happiness*

We need to put this in a MM2 hack. NAO!

  • This song made me pass my Networking class test.

  • Hey, wait a minute! I uploaded my crap one yesterday. But man, yours is 10x more epic.

    I request a VRC6 of Spark Man then :D

  • What's with the tone difference (from the original) at 0:21-0:33?

  • And a bunch of other sections as well, sounds really off-key

  • @Alignn its a remix not cover that why the key is different

  • @harrisshelton1

I guess. Most remixes go for a completely different sound rather than just upgrading the song (what I'd call a remaster). I like both approaches, but this seems to be something in between, hence the jarring feeling.

  • @Alignn >it's a remix

    >there are added harmonies

    >not off key

what did you think you were going to hear? the original song?

  • @8BitDanooct1

    A remaster?

  • Top tier.

  • Thanks I really enjoyed this. I really like the additions you have made to the original, especially the high arpeggios. I am not sure if I am in a position to give constructive criticism, but I think that some of the new layers are good but detract from the main melody...there are notes at the fifth interval during the okkusenman "Demo" part that sound good but subvert the main theme. I dont think they should be gotten rid of, just lowered to balance the layering...maybe at a 5 to B interval.

  • I am wooed by your honeyed musical bits. T_T so amazing!

  • In all fairness, there's a reason why it's overused. People never tire of it. <D

And now you've made it even more epic. Congrats~ ouob

  • Aww man why did I listen to this? Now the original song is gonna sound like crap...

  • @nophysicsman I disagree. The original is a classic, and the classics live forever. Nothing will top it, not even this rendition, as good as it is.

  • @nophysicsman It DOES sound like crap now.

  • That sounds awesome!

  • And suddenly everybody shits themselves over a song that's been drained of it's glory

  • S... This remix is awesome

  • to me Mega Man 2 has the best music of all the other Mega Man titles

    job well done 8bitDanooct1

    keep those remixes coming

  • epic!!!

  • dat keyboard

  • MY BODY WASN'T READY FOR THIS.

    OH GOD MY KEYBOARD.

  • I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS.

  • I admit, I used to like this song (though not as much as most people seem to), and while it still is a good example of the 2a03 used well, it became overused very quickly, and I find it highly overrated. There's just alot of other genuine songs in the game that people seem to forget about over this one. Still, this is a great remix and does it justice. Can't wait for dat N106 so people will stop using the highly overrated VRC6 for remixes =P

  • ow fuck why have you done this

  • For me, Wily Stage 1 was the first video game music I ever heard that was so good I actually stopped playing the game to listen to it.

  • Interesting remix

    ...

of a totally not overused song! -w-

  • This is awesome. :D
