  • montana farmer on line is isolated and does not use combine for anything else very careful with his oat farm. but some corn has bothered me since I have gone GF, maybe I am getting used to being pain free for the gut?

  • @thepixieful1 It is good to see farmers working to keep oats completely separate from wheat. That will be beneficial for those who don't react to the native oat gluten. For me it won't matter. I would react either way.

  • People need to be aware that oats, corn and rice can cause problems but usually not as severe as wheat, rye and barley. Some types of corn can cause reactions while others don’t. You will have to experiment. Not sure about the gluten difference between white and brown rice. I just notice that white rice gives me problems in much smaller quantities than does brown rice.

  • I find that I do react to rice; though so far not corn. Confusing to know what to add/take from diet. Polenta have recently started using this, and have felt pretty good with eating it. What is the difference with rice and brown rice? Rice left me feeling very glutened.
