  • what album was this off of?

  • wasn't this song a tribute to stevie ray vaughn?

  • that was lovely. I mean I really loved it

  • brilliantly moving piece of art

  • made this our wedding song last year, everytime i hear it i almost shed a tear. first time i heard this song i knew it would be with me forever. say him play his Bad Habits tour back in edmonton in 1996. He bled all over his guitar during the solo for real stuff, man that was bad ass.

  • Whenever I'm stressed with whatever it is in the world, this song absolutely takes me away from anything bothering me. It makes the world seem calm and safe.

  • My step dad passed away this week, he wanted this song played. Now I understand why. Its a song that quiet yet loud enough to make you close your eyes and forget about all the negative things in life!

    I miss you dad!

  • Very Very extraordinary!!!!!

  • One of the most meaningful songs for me. Music is soooooo much stronger than words.

  • @BellBrothersBand You know what they say, "Music speaks louder than words".

  • I'm sorry I have to swear, but i fuckin love this song!!!!!!!

  • Excellent!

  • SRV was his his idol and mentor (in his early years). He is the best Canadian blues/rock guitarist. Buy all of his CDs, they are great. Too bad his recording company never made an effort to make him a big star outside Canada.

  • @wowojeejee yepper totaly agree whith you bad marketing job svr is still turning over in his grave thinkin bout his boy,,,,,, an i mean it ,no one else plays like him or ever will

  • @fid65 - Thank you for your reply. I would like to suggest that you listen to these two tunes from Jeff Golub: Naked City and Stockholm. They are similar to Speechless. Jeff Golub is a fantastic guitarist and musician. He lost eyesight in both eyes early in 2011. Read his bio when you have a chance.

  • Music should grab & hold you....Colin, as usual....does this.....sweet

  • Try and catch it !!!!

  • Excellent song

  • love his music...one of the nicest guys you will ever meet :)

  • @kittykat7363 he shook my hand and hugged me after i told him this was only the second song to bring tears to my eyes after Riviera Paradise

  • Oh im sorry, i thought it was a joke , cause all i got was silence, my son disconnected my speakers, on reflection it pretty dam good , sorry for the confusion.

  • This is on Colin James "Bad Habits" CD

  • WOW man this is great!! i've already learned half of the song...lol

  • I feel like such a noob! I have never heard of this guy before. I haven't heard anything that juicy and tasty in a while. Where have I been?!

  • I Keep Thinkin' I Heard Part Of This On An Adam Sandler Movie. I Think It Was Happy Gilmore. Ima Watch It Again =D

  • You're thinking of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Tuesday's Gone", but the break in this song and that song are similar, yes.

  • It sounds SRV-ish

  • hardly

maybe in a few places. but stevie was more aggresive. he attacked it harder. but i can deffinately hear some SRV-esque influences

  • it was written for and about SRV. good catch.

  • @ih8thishit

Love this song. It is especially exhilirating to watch Colin play live.

  • Nice and smooth... just the way I like it.

  • Colin James is the coolest MF'er I've ever seen play live! Incredible guitarist and musician! If you ever get a chance to see him play a small venue like a bar or private show-GO! You wont be dissapointed! I saw him in a bar in Orangeville ON some years back and was blown away!

  • Ya, I was looking for the charcoal ad too, contacted the company and they said they didn't know who the artist was and that their ad agency handled the ad. And get this, they can't release the artists because of privacy laws, hahahaha. I guess the artist wouldn't want any publicity.

  • It is a great instrumental but because it never really took off I am tempted to believe it is a cover of some old blues tune. Any one know if Colin wrote it.

  • great song. anyone know where i can find a free mp3 of it/

  • Listening to a piece of smooth artwork.

  • happy gilmore!

  • LOL great movie, but I dont think this was in it. U may be thinking of Tuesdays gone by Lynyrd Skynyrd (one of my favorite songs from my favorite band)

  • ya mate thats tuesday's gone

  • When I first saw the Kingsford ad I thought it sounded like Duane Allman (playing a Gibson Les Paul). You never can tell!

  • not Duane's style. Duane is more of the slide kind.

  • found this song when lookin for the music in the Kingsford charcoal ads

  • In memory of Stevie Ray Vaughan ! ! !

  • i love this song

  • Incredible.

  • beautiful
