  • Superb! The best Kraftwerk track for my money.

  • aeg12p eh, there was dura ace from shimano in the 70ies :)

  • Wow it's reminds me to my childhood when I used to be up early turn on the tv and watch lucho herrera climbing OMG so great and the latin narrator cheering up the stage thumbs up If you remember the mythic stages herrera kelly fignon hinault delgado parra le mond simply amazing

  • can one air synthesizer...you know, like air guitar ?

  • Back in the 80's we did'nt have Shimano derailleurs, Everything was Suntour then.

    Source from: google.nl.

  • ilove the music

  • são mesmo uns loucos!

  • @carpetmonstero

Influencing more modern acts than Kraftwerk? Certainly not......

  • This video, the 1983 version, the beats / harmony, sound quality and atmospheric stage video are excellent!!. It feels close to an official video and very well shot showing Ralph playing the keyboards close up. This live version seems to have more depth and power than the original and other versions. Since released when I was at school have always loved this 1983 track and forever in my top tracks of all time. 10/10 : A1+ : 110% it doesn't get much better than this!!!!!!!

  • that notebook in 1983 :S

  • He means it's the 1983 version of tdf, the gig was in 2005 hence the date 20050701 in the title, plus Florian had hair (a bit more anyway) in 1983

  • Some real talented brothers...Kraftwerk forever'

  • Hell yeah man. Kraftwerk are my heroes on some many levels both musically, technologically and even philosophically to some level. They touched so many types of music too. Their contribution should never be forgotten.

  • this was my joint in middle school, they represented well in 1984!!

  • Kraftwerk were The Beatles of electronic music.

  • Kraftwerk's beats were the foundation of most of Hip Hop. The bass beat used in Numbers was the beat you used if you wanted an instant hit. Kraftwerk has never had the recognition thats due them. Thanks for their contribution to Hip Hop and music!!!!!

  • Good observation but who cares about "hip hop". :-)

  • alot of white kids world wide along with blacks, hispanic and other races. i know it just your opinion.but who cares about the garbage that you call music.your the typical outsider who thinks certain music is the standard or that your entitled to everything.music is universal.why does so many people have to compare music to color? who gives a fuck who sings a certain song or what color the artist is.theres nothing documented about the "RIGHT MUSIC" to listen to.

  • @str8outtatexas1

    I was just teasing. :)

  • kraftwerk founding fathers along with afrika baambataa of electro-funk ahead of there time big time selling in urban america in 70's and 80's we used to everything dance wise to this music

  • Slap you are on point, and these newjack clowns should be giving mad props to them!!!!

  • Kraftwerk came first!

Afrika Baambataa & Tommy Boy got sued by Kraftwerk for not getting clearance to sample Trans Europe Express for Planet Rock

  • The synthesizers are very melodic in this.

  • nice video footage!

endlich kann man mal sehen was die fürn equipment haben und WIE DIE SPIELEN, nicht nur DASS sie spielen^^

  • they are so far ahead in their music that their studio is classified and they built al or most of their electronics

also todays synths owe kraftwerk a lot.

  • wrong - they had input designing a few, particularly the drum machine but they bought what were highly expensive instruments(synths) them days but they came from wealthy enough backrounds - so the story goes anyway

  • i think they meant the age of the track.

  • I have one thing to say . . . . . . . KRAFTWERK ARE AWESOME!!! The tune has inspired me when i've been training for athletics

  • 26 years old and still fresh like baby poo

  • As a matter of fact they've formed in 1970. And I would not compare them to baby poo.

  • WHAT THE HELL !!

    HAHAHAAHAHA

    RIGHT

  • Awesome. Okay, this is the version I remember from my my weeeee childy days! Never knew it was Kraftwerk. I think if I'd have known, I would have some of their albums ;)

  • Not boring at all! Nice music!

  • Etwas Besonderes !

So etwas gibt es leider nicht mehr !

  • As always this was a superb performance and show.

I am so glad I was there!

  • *-*

  • Breakdance the movie

    Turbo's broom dance

  • Member.

  • 20 years from now this music will sound like it just came out today.

  • so true! Kraftwerk have always been ahead in time.

  • I loved this song when i was a kid. It was in some breakdancing movie. i think it was called breakdance the movie

  • they weren't old when they were making it, idiot. All electronic music (ie, all music) has kraftwerk as it's basis.

  • sweet beyond words

  • I always wondered what theyd look like in concert.

  • Crazy cnuts i love em

  • These dudes were way ahead of their time.

  • I remember this song as a kid on a old Casette and could never get it out of my head 20 + years later....

  • THE HOOD LOVED THIS JAM!!

  • they where the dudes that inventet electronic music.,. some off the first atleast

  • It's funny to see old men making electronic music... but also damn cool!

  • Comment removed

  • I wonder if these guys are rich.. they should be. If nothing else from all the royalty checks from everyone who's sampled them lol

  • funny you should say that...i'm pretty sure they sued afrika bambaata back in the 80's for stealing some of "trans europe express"

  • watch close encounters of the third kind?

they are contacting the mother ship...

  • fucking hell this is a gem of 1983 ever

  • Damn I'd love to see these chaps live. There's not much left of the original outfit though is there?

  • Not certain, but I think they're all still with us - I was lucky enough to see them in 2004. Awesome.

  • Lucky bastard! I'm pretty sure they're still with us, but I'm not sure they're still with each other.

  • WILSY73 bernie butler is not a member of new order. Ithink you meant bernard sumner.

  • looooong live Kraftwerk!

  • love this tune, as they said to new order "but what is the EXACT process?"

  • explain...

  • I'm refering to the precise manner in which they construct their music. I once saw an interview with Bernie Buttler, where he recounted them asking him how he produced a certain sound on a New Order track, so he told them "oh, we used that mixer and synth over there." To which they replied; "but what is the EXACT process?"

  • Bernard Sumner?

  • Right you are! Getting my Bernards all mixed up.

  • das ist gut ya, danke bitte tus

    long live kraftwerk

  • looks likem its all pre recorded in the studio and that arnt playing diddly squat here -

  • who cares?

  • who said i cared?

  • thats intelligent of you. prat!

  • They're are so fricken cool!

    The originals, so great

  • "Kraftwerk "Tour de France 1983" Live in Tilburg 013 Club 1st July 2005"

If you can't read, don't write... moron

  • I prefer original version than new one

  • obožavao sam ih,80-tih njihova muzika je zvučala kao da su došli iz daleke, daleke budučnosti...kraftwerk live FOREVER

  • did these guys create breakbeat???

  • They had to be the First.

  • The rhythm is more electro than breakbeat, no?

  • Oww! My bad! Sorry :D

  • Nice laptops for 1983... lol ;)

  • Read the title correctly - Tilburg 20050701. Only song is from year 1983. :)

  • For me... this song is the best of Kraftwerk, Inclusive I like the version in their website.

  • how good are these guys live!!

    one of the best.....

  • the best part is, I think, the drumbeat that is mimicking the sounds of bicycle gears. Genius!

  • This song can be found in the Breakdance movie from 1984!

  • Slightly different version, re-recorded in the same year.

  • their best song in my opinion.. they seem to be quite nice on stage too..

  • This is just pure melody and great drum patterns from the masters of such! Catchy as hell. I love the main melody and..and..and just everything about this track.

  • does anyone the female that sings over this beat? it is a techno song

  • ARE YOU THAT IS 1983 YEAR ?

  • No, this is the 1983 single version of this song. They released another version in like 2002, so the guy who uploaded put the 1983 in the title so people would not mistake the versions.

  • I'm not sure but I think this is from a 2001 tour... don't quote that!

  • Duh, dumbass! The 1983 on the title means that they are playing the 1983 version of Tour de France, in contrast to the newer version.

  • LOL!

  • I have an extra cardboard if anyone needs it now.

  • First heard their music in '78, these guys still have a great beat!

  • got me poppin and lockin!

  • clear the floor.time to battle

  • HOOD CLASSIC.

  • Lets just focus on one member of the band :/ (Ralf Hutter) camera shooting could have been better

  • i was born 1979 and when i was a kid,i can hear this beating through 2 18in. woofers.we heard craftwerks all the way in sacramento,California. i still cant believe that it was done by you for.i love it.

  • Weeeiiiiirrrrd! I'm from sac and I was born in 1979. Plus I grew up listening to this...Tripy.

  • KRAFTWERK!!!!!!

  • techno gods and true legends

  • Couldnt agree more. Including Georgio Moroder, But these guys further back andare the true pioneers of electronica.

  • genius and nostalgia

    what a great combo

  • Great for Break Dancing. NUMBERS is their dope jam.

  • All u Old skool B-Boy and Breakers - I can still remember Turbo in Breakdance - Doin the biz wit the broomstick - Classic Scene. Some one post it.

  • great record love it to bits

  • Read the title completely ratankul...Kraftwerk "Tour de France 1983" Live in Tilburg 013 Club 1st July 2005...it's the original 1983 version of the song.

  • damn these guys still can rock the house.thx 4 posting this.doin my windmill now

  • Amazing, one of my favorite groups. I had all, let me say it again, all of their albums.

  • cool song

  • thats not 1983.

  • As I have guessed for some years now.. Florian Schneider (at the far most right) is completely paralyzed live. He is a studio genius, needs silence + time. He´s just doing some phonetic utterances with "his" MIDI "DEC-Talk" system on "Music non stop" and could probably use a good old hardware 16-step sequenser to get going live. Poor Florian.

  • I noticed that too. Ralf Hutter does the most work of anyone in these recent concerts.
