Appreciate your video of PARALYZED which exposes Ronnie McDowell to people who may not have known about him until they somehow were led to this video site. I recall a fellow during 1950s who all day every day sat in a chair with record player on table next to him and listened to Elvis sing PARALYZED and RIP IT UP until the "grooves" were worn off ..... were white .....
WOULD YOU CORRECT RAY’S GRAMMER? WOULD YOU TELL HIM, “NO RAY, IT’S WHAT DID I SAY”. YOUR CONSTIPATED GRAMMER NEGATES YOUR CREATIVITY.
BUT YOU’RE RIGHT ABOUT ELVIS BEING IN THE MANY HALLS OF FAME. EXCEPT THAT THERE SHOULD BE ONE BUILT JUST FOR HIM. HE DOES STAND COMPLETELY ALONE AND WITHOUT PEERS.
@ELVIS4221 You certainly misunderstood what I wrote. My comment was not "correcting" grammar. It was making a point that Elvis not only "could" not be matched ..... Elvis WILL NOT ever be surpassed. Perhaps, you would read my comment again because I certainly do not understand why you used inappropriate and mean words toward me. Somebody either needs a hug, which will not come from me; or, a wanta be alpha male needs to "command" not "demand" attention. Do you not realize the world sees?
@TheWally243 Ronnie has greatness and is favored by those who sang with Elvis because he does it from his heart and does not try to be Elvis. I noticed Ronnie used his own "inflections" singing PARALYZED and it sort of sounded a bit flat. Ronnie is sincere entertainer and has "the Elvis sound" because he practiced in front of mirror since age 06 years ..... a true admirer of Elvis, loving and wants to keep alive the legacy of Elvis.
With Elvis setting-the-standard by which all else is measured, Ronnie's cover of 'Paralyzed' is about as close to being as good as Elvis's original as anyone's going to get. There were only 2 voices in the history of popular music recording that will be hard to surpass. Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley.
I've watched and listened to Ronnie for years - since "The King is Gone" came out and I have never seen him in a jump suit. I think that's one reason why I love him so much.
First picture in the jumpsuit was indeed Eddie miles.Ronnie does a knockout version of this song.I still think Eddie Miles does the best Elvis tribute show..
Totally agree with you, Eddie Miles is the best ETA out there!! We go every chance we get to see his show. He is a great entertainer and always has a great show. Looks and sounds so much like Elvis!!!!
The VERY 1ST PICTURE was Not Elvis or Ronnie lol! Ronnie has never nor ever will wear a jumpsuit. I believe that was Eddie Miles an Elvis impersonater.
Good version. Also Emile Ford and the Checkmates made a good job of this song.

No one even as good as Ronny is, could ever touch the voice of Elvis. Just go back and listen to Elvis back in the fifties and you will agree!

It's the same style as Elvis but Ronnie has his own inflexions. Ronnie was born too late.
