Actually, I think that this sort of feeling against those who don't believe in a supernatural supreme being is common among both Democrats and Republicans. Dole is just taking an unproven and particularly poisonous assertion and using it to slam her opponent. Now if Dole had REAL proof that the Democrat was an unbeliever, I think she would easily be reelected.

That is one of the reasons the British came to America. Freedom "FROM" religion? Here they USE God in everyway. How they ever voted or who it was that "decided" that we should have "In God We Trust" or Under God in the pledge was just wrong.
