I kept this PSP since it first came out (PSP-1000) and I kept it in the lint-free case the whole time since I got it. You should also use alcohol, but don't use too much as it well drip into your buttons and you would have to open it up and clean it.

well, the newest IRShell comes with remote learning and you can just click the button on the PSP and you press the button on the remote when facing the IR Port on the PSP and it will learn

unless your infrared is "right-on" the tv's infrared port, it should work between 5 to 15ft. I controlled a retailer shops tv 10ft away. It all depends on your infrared port

hey, I am not sure what you are talking about making scripts, but if you mean making your own remote for IRShell, check out my other vid called TUTORIAL: Using IRSell 4.7 for 5.00m33 and below

thats because the wiimote gives its comands via bluetooth, it senses the ir from the sensor bar which tell the remote its position. The remote only sends bluetooth info out, there isnt any way to send ir out of it. It may be possible in the future for someone to make a script that acts as the sensor bar and it may give u a little control as to where u are pointing on the tv.

no a wii uses infared with the remotes, but what happens is the remotes have an infared sensor cameras, the sensor bar is where the infared comes from

you cannot use the ir remote on the PSP Slim and the PSP3000 because they both lack the Infrared port unlike the PSP Phat.

OK, so to put these codes onto your PSP, first activate USB connection. Then plug your cable into your PSP and go on your computer. Go to your memory stick root and if you have IRSHELL installed, you will see a IRSHELL folder in the root. Click on the folder and find the folder IRCODES double click the IRCODES folder and put all the files from the package called IRSHELL when you download it.
