i just went the Swissotel today in Downtown Chicago and they changed car A and car B into Otis Compass Elevators.

Not a great Montgomery. The indicator is screwy, the buttons are cheap (reminds me of Schindler MT), and it has the famous Montgomery elevator noise in the backround (the shaking sound).

No. 3 of the elevators serve that floor. Actually L is the top street level, although the street itself has 3 levels - Upper Wacker Drive, Lower Wacker Drive, and the Chicago Service Drive.

Apparently floors 12 and 21 were skipped, but even though the indicator showed 30, floor 37 was skipped. But this is sure a nice elevator, and very fast indeed.
