If any1 hadn't guesed, Richard Hammond was not riding that bike when it was doing those stunts... it was a french motorcyclist who also did the collinder of death. If you had filmed the whole thing then u would see the motorbike drive off then 1 second later RH walks out in jeans and leather jacket. This was more cool if u were there. And yes i did see the Veyron rhac001... its awsome!

Hammond had a car accident in the world's fastest car at 280 mph way before this. He had a severe brain injury and Top Gear had to go on without him for almost a year. I'm pretty sure the producers and especially his wife didn't want him doing a stunt again.

no it wasnt the world fastest car. If he succeded at diving it twice he just had the land speed record for england, but not for the world. So correctly it was englads fastest car. And because he crashed the record didnt count.

he wasnt trying to set a record at all, if he was he would have to of driven it in the oposite direction and gotten the average speed from them. he only drove it one way

He does ride bikes all the time, not like that tho,lol. He may actually... But in the show, the guy riding the bike can't of been him, cuz when it went behind the curtain hammond popped straight out. In normal clothes, no helmet, and not even ruffled. I hav a video of it too actually. not sure if u can see him pop out though... It was sooo funny:) I luved it soo much! did u see the veyron???? :D
