  • Sounds like she's Cummins L10 powered

  • That's because she is powered by the Cummins L10. In this case the L10 has electronics as the bus is a 1993 model (the 1987-88 and 1990 Flxible Metro B's used the mechanical L10s).

  • She sounds great BTW! Both MARTA and Cobb Community Transit also used to have Cummins L10 Flxibles with Voith trannies.

  • Cobb Community Transit also had some Flxibles with the Cummins M11 and ZF.

  • They sure did, and I use to love riding them too, and at times they sound like the Series 60 even at idle, "just in my opinion."

  • That D.C. MetroBus Flxible Metro sounds like the Santa Clara VTA ones.

  • i am guessing thats an array, battery at the top so is this a hybrid or its just there for something else?

  • That's the roof-mounted air conditioner unit you're seeing.

  • thanx.

  • it waz leaving the mall at pg right???

  • It is on the K6 line heading up to White Oak

  • these things exhaust out the top? i forgot.

  • yea dey do

  • Only #9719 in this fleet of 85 buses has a conventional exhaust pipe on the roof.
