Hugh seemed to be channeling Peter in his speech and singing patterns.

Just nice to see peter's music being sung again after all these years.

As long as the music is played and sung it is never forgotten.

Nice to see it being discovered by a new audience.

It doesnt matter if it doesnt match, the thing is he is protraying a man who played the piano. He can't portray him properly if he doesn't play the piano at all in the musical. He did a terrific job. Spot on Hugh!

@roryunderfire I agree that Mr. Jackman did a "spirited" version of my friend Peter..although somewhat burlesque.

But, you are correct, Peter was a piano man. I was there for the VIP opening of the BFO. That was the mistake in Legs..he never sat at the piano till the end. I was at the opening and closing performances of Legs.
