Instead of using hypnosis, I would use a butterfree and use sleep powder because it has 100% accuracy unlike hypnosis

Yes. As long as you don't KO it or run away, you can still capture it.

I paralyzed him with body slam, got him to the same red hp in this video, and threw 49 ultra balls at him and it didn't work, then I throw 10 great balls and catch the bastard lol

When in doubt, use weaker versions of Pokeballs. =P (Great Balls, Pokeballs, etc.)

@randomyoshi actually using a pokeball is true if you use higher grades then it will work the opposite as catching a undergraded pokemon with a master ball

Now I think Zapdos is the easiest to catch,and Articuno the hardest...

Zapdos in most videos I've seen was caught with only 2-3 tries...

Here's what I did:

I made my Flareon use fire blast once, quick attack twice. Then pikachu to paralyze it. Then i used 4 pokeballs, 6 great balls, and 9 ultra balls. So much money...lost. D: But that video was very good. I didn't get lost. :D And it was funny. X3

Go to Fuchsia Town's Safari Zone, and find an item called Gold Teeth (or something like that). Afterwards, go to the Safari Manager's house, give him the item, and you'll receive HM Strength from him.

how do you get to the second island?

If you head south of Fuchsia Town and turn west, you'll come across the first island. But to get to the second island, you have to either solve the rock-pushing puzzle, or head south from Pallet Town to Cinnibar Island, and head east from there.

Putting the wild Pokemon to sleep is the best method, but paralysis via Thunderwave, Stun Spore, etc. is also good if you want to slow your opponent down.

Personally, I think the origional Red/Blue had the crappiest Articuno sprite. In fact, a great deal of them didn't look much like even their official artwork *coughGeodudecough* much less their anime counterparts.
