VERY cool (and odd) I did a forward swept wing jet (its redicuously similar to yours). how does yours fly on the lower end of the speed range as in about 3-8 mph, Mine exibits crazy wing rock but never flipped over. My plane also was a mid mounted pusher allowing Some TV manuvers.
Thanks Pyromaster365. Sorry, no RTF planes for sale, at least for now. I will be making and posting free plans in the near future though. So you could build one.
Thanks for the comment utti104! I was not sure how the plane would fly either, but turned out she flew really good. So I was pretty happy. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the comment netjunky. The plane was fairly cheap to make, $20 for foam, $30 for Motor and ESC, $30 for both Servos, $18 for the battery. Then tape and misc glue and stuff. Radio I used was n older one I had with a cheap $20 72mhz GWS Receiver.
I'm well pleased for you that the bird of prey flew really well on her maiden flight and i hope the enterprise is not about when she is flying next time lol,but what a great looking bird she is and to get such a great flight on the maiden was the tit's and that has to be my favourite bird yet out of your hanger mate ;-) 5* all the way.
Thanks a lot Startazz! It was a great feeling to have the maiden flight go well. haa haa, I may have to make a flying Enterprise lol. Keep tuned, I plan on building a bigger faster version of this baby for myself sometime soon. Also i will be trying to put some basic template plans together for anyone who may want to make one themselves. Thanks again for watching.
Thanks youtwoba! I was really surprised too at a how well this plane flew right of the bat. I am planning on building another one, but bigger and fast this time since it will be for myself. I will be posting free template plans for this plane on our website in the near future. thanks again youtwoba!
Glad you guys had success on the first toss! My years of success with rocket boost gliders made me think that I could get away with anything in R/C planes, too. Hoo, boy! After my first R/C delta plane I realized how important correct CG is!
My delta planes always work best when they are nose heavy in glide. As long as I can shift the CG around some it'll work out under power.
Thanks S.U.G. for your comment. I agree, the correct CG is very critical, especially with these forward swept wings. i also agree it is better to be a little nose heavy rather than tail heavy when doing your first flight tests. Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much for the compliment omendesign! I know we have so much more to learn and many things we can improve upon. As for the FFF builds, please keep watching I plan on doing an FFF or Depron plane soon. Also in the meantime please check out our good friend BrandoRC on youtube. All of his planes have been FFF. Thanks again,
That first toss made me a believer in glide testing. That tape job looks awsome! you truly have made taping an artform of your own. congrats on such a successful project from beginning to end
Thanks Wildhover! Glide testing is definately a godd way to help find the CG. I'm sure I'll try and do more of it on the planes that are not so fragile. The depron or foamboard ones will have to do some softer glide testing. Thanks for watching wildhover and great work on your modified plane too. Can't wait to see more video of it!
that jet is awesome. do just great on its maiden flight. congrat guys. love the color scheme as well. i just wondering if you could share how you make those thin strip out of packing tape.
Thanks kaptainC. I was real happy how she flew right on the first toss. The blue color was regular tape as usual. the yellow color I cheated a little and used trimkote and yellow pinstripe. Thanks for watching kaptainC!
Guys... you have done the KFm2 airfoil real proud. I don't think anyone has seen it applied to a forward swept wing before. You've hit a home run out of the box first time out. That's pretty amazing. It looked like the real thing in the air. I loved the way you could slow it down and it maintained its tracking. Superb work, guys. Dick Kline
Thanks so much Mr. Kline. Your KF airfoil definately helped make this a great flyer. Much more easy to stay in control at all speeds. Especially at slow speeds. Thanks gain for your comment!
Thanks Skydive4ever, as for the tape it is just simple colored carton sealing tape. Please see our blog, I wrote up an article about the tape and where to get it.
Thanks Shaneeeeak! I was really happy to see how this plane flew since it was the first forward swept wing plane for me. Great work on your new planes and videos too! keep up the awesome work also!
Hey great job Pauly. The plane looks cool and fly's great too. I'm sure Chris will be happy with it. I'll try and check him out when he takes out for his maiden flight. Good work once again. So what's the next build gonna be? Can't wait to see. Good luck to you and Humphrey, oh and Happy Birthday Bro.
Thanks Mike. yeah, you may have to be the camera man for when Chris Flies it. Now i need to get you into flying planes too! One of the next projects is already the works. I'm building another FF-22, only this time out of EPP an a little bigger. Plus some other added features. I will have a video of the start of the project in a week or so. I still have a few other projects going too that will be revealed later..
Man, all I can say is awesome. Thanks for all of the time you have put into making it work. Looks like it flies great, and I can't wait to try myself. AWESOME!
The coolest beginner parkjet ever! Your design couldn't have come out better. From the work bench to slicing the air straight and true. Time for you to build yourself a fast version. Thanks for the shout out too. 5*
Thanks Brandon! Glad you were there to see it in person too. Can't wait to see your new plane rip through the sky too. keep up yout awesome videos and plane designs too!
Thanks AnyAirRc! Thanks too for your reminders to do the glide tests with the bare airframe. I believe that was a key result of getting it to fly correct on the first toss. Can't wait to see more of your cool plane designs too! Thanks for commenting and participating in our videos. I appreciate it a lot.
can you make a video on the HK micro spitfire build instructions and flight test.

What was the total cost of all materials for the plane? I am using fuel powered engines now but want to make the switch.
Also do these planes need to have insurance on them to fly??
