The Bible teaches nothing of a literal place where people are eternally tortured. These ideas developed much later. Many Christians and scholars realize this and are continuing to realize this till this day. Orthodoxy which is an ancient form of Christianity never taught of such a place as eternal hell. Theres eternal life and eternal death, the second death.

The funny part here is that, no matter what you get used to what happen to you. @MegaMarkerr God is the ultimate judge. I don't judge people, I just tell them what God wants them to do and I tell them what actions are sins if they ask. @yhenry77 Man, you're wrong if you think that a simple stupid prayer (because it is if you're not willing to REALLY serve Him your entire life) would send you to Heaven. You can be saved through grace by accepting Jesus, but that's not all. And, in Heaven, all that you would do would glorify God, because you'd be serving Him in all your actions, as it should be here on earth.

@Poisonmilk273 Yes, in revelation 7:1 it says corners, but that doesn't mean a literal corner, but the 4 sides, North, South, East and West, or, the 4 farthest parts of the earth. It says after that that the angels were "holding the winds of the earth" and the four winds are not in the North-West, etc. A pillar is something that sustains, and its reffering to the foundations of the earth, or the mantle, etc.

@davegamemaster that's not true. dna is the blueprint of life. information does not come from intelligence, recocnising information requires intelligence. besides, animals have brains as well yet they don't use them as we do. humans evolved from monkeys but monkeys can't use computers. as our species evolved, so did our brain and our intelligence grew over the generations. even bacteria, one of the most basic forms of life, have a certain degree of intelligence.

Animals have a certain degree of intelligence, therefore, they have a certain degree of information, but because they don't have a complex language like ours, they don't think what they're doing, just using that information (which we call instinct). You can't get intelligence itself, just use it. You can use your intelligence for being more wise or for taking bad decisions, but its there. @toetapanter9 Many in the USA yes, in Mexico there aren't that many, in fact, the church that I attended to on the other city I lived was full of people that were Catholics (not very religious) and the preacher is an ex-alcoholic. Before being saved he was always drunk, fell on the streets all the time and then he got saved and drank no more, its one of the best examples of a man really born again without being taught Christianity.

For me religious means doing certain things only because you were taught to do it without reasoning about it, or doing certain rituals for personal convenience. If you use my interpretation of religious, yes, they're made religious. If you say that they were made religious (religious meaning believing in God, which I don't believe that is its meaning) then no, we were born with the knowledge of God, not of what God, but of a God.

The Bible teaches nothing of a literal place where people are eternally tortured. These ideas developed much later. Many Christians and scholars realize this and are continuing to realize this till this day. Orthodoxy which is an ancient form of Christianity never taught of such a place as eternal hell. The funny part here is that, no matter what you get used to what happen to you. That all it would have taken is 30 seconds to say a simple prayer and you did not even need to praise God ONCE while you were there. @Poisonmilk273 Yes, in revelation 7:1 it says corners, but that doesn't mean a literal corner, but the 4 sides, North, South, East and West, or, the 4 farthest parts of the earth. It says after that that the angels were "holding the winds of the earth" and the four winds are not in the North-West, etc. A pillar is something that sustains, and its reffering to the foundations of the earth, or the mantle, etc.

@Poisonmilk273 Isa 40:22 "It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth..." And obviously a circle doesn't have corners. Some would say a circle has corners, but infitine literal corners, so a corner in Revelation is the end of the Earth (the farthest part it reaches, as I said).

Its a new world, a better world, where there are many colors we haven't seen, and many other things, but we would glorify God, not singing Hallelujah all the time, but with what we do. I don't know how much information does the DNA have, but surely many TB. Now, we're not talking about a pattern, but information, and information doesn't come from anything else out of intelligence. @davegamemaster that's not true. dna is the blueprint of life. information does not come from intelligence, recocnising information requires intelligence. besides, animals have brains as well yet they don't use them as we do. humans evolved from monkeys but monkeys can't use computers. as our species evolved, so did our brain and our intelligence grew over the generations. even bacteria, one of the most basic forms of life, have a certain degree of intelligence.

Animals have a certain degree of intelligence, therefore, they have a certain degree of information, but because they don't have a complex language like ours, they don't think what they're doing, just using that information (which we call instinct). But it required intelligence to create that information, they didn't get that information out of eating a plant that had that information...

@davegamemaster no, they got their intelligence over the years. i assume you have heard of natural selection. the life forms that best adapt to their environment will survive to reproduce. it's basicually a long proces of trial and error where the wrong choice results in your death wich leaves only the right awnser that forms the instinct. it's absurd to say that animals got that information right away. besides, did god inject them with this information? i don't think so...

Animals get information, and based on that information instinctively they make right choices, or better choices. Besides, I didn't say that you can get information right away...

You can't get intelligence itself, just use it. You can use your intelligence for being more wise or for taking bad decisions, but its there. Maybe you can improve your intelligence and your way of reasoning, but you can't get more intelligence.

@toetapanter9 Many in the USA yes, in Mexico there aren't that many, in fact, the church that I attended to on the other city I lived was full of people that were Catholics (not very religious) and the preacher is an ex-alcoholic. Before being saved he was always drunk, fell on the streets all the time and then he got saved and drank no more, its one of the best examples of a man really born again without being taught Christianity.

For me religious means doing certain things only because you were taught to do it without reasoning about it, or doing certain rituals for personal convenience. If you use my interpretation of religious, yes, they're made religious. If you say that they were made religious (religious meaning believing in God, which I don't believe that is its meaning) then no, we were born with the knowledge of God, not of what God, but of a God.

@toetapanter9 As I already said, it depends on the country. If you think of it overall, maybe yes, but it would be at least 30% or 40% people that weren't Christians. I couldn't say how many, maybe there are more that weren't Christians, because there are Christians all over the world, and I've known about thousands of Christians in India and China that became Christians within years and made a lot of churches. And yes, we could continue tomorrow, it doesn't matter much.
