And give Obama credit for saving General Motors not Newt Gingrich or Mitt Romney(who wanted to see it destroyed) for saving General Motors.Obama deserves to be relected again.
@DonShakah Cadillac has not even been in the performance market for that long and they have put more and more focus on handling ever since their first Caddy-V.
I hope the ATS is better than my Pontiac G8 GT, which was GM's last alleged performance sedan. My G8 has had endless mechanical (and other) problems from day 1, and with only ~34K miles, the steering has a lot of slack, and the suspension clatters and clunks on even the smallest bumps. Very low quality build.
@theory400 same with my brothers trailblazer ss, cool truck but the interior quality is so cheap everything creeks and breaks and the rear end makes rattling noises when you hit bumps, but where i live its pothole central no getting around them..but im sure this car and all new cars from gm are going to have some more durability and quality put into them, laps around the nurburgring at this pace a few times will unveil any cheap points in a suspension
@theory400 I've had 2 friends who have been nothing but impressed with their G8's (one GT, one regular) build quality and performance. Perhaps you just got the bad apple of the bunch, because the G8 has gone down in history as the one recent car that made people miss Pontiac.
The GM Milford Proving Grounds in Milford, Michigan attempts to emulate the most important sections of the 'Ring. It's not a perfect but it's a great start. But there's just no replacing the conditions and overall difficulty of the 'Ring and that's why it'll always be the standard in testing new car technology.
Nice to see gm tKing time to engineer there vehicles to perfection.. this car should be a hit without a doubt.. hope to see a good superbowl commercial

So what this means is that Cadillac for once starts to care about braking and handling. It only took them an eternity.

Haters need to calm down. ATS will be a great car for it's price and if people don't like it, there are a lot of other cars to pick from. ^_~
I myself want a 2013 CTS-V . . . .with AWD lol. A man can dream!

This will be the first AWD performance Caddy, looks fast around the corners, hope they will TT the 6.2 V8 in the future for the ATS-V

Looks like it could be a great little car, but not entirely sold on the proportions.

I wonder if GM is going to go with a close ratio or wide ratio 8 speed automatic transmission?
