  • this is optional .

  • As an educator, I find it extremely hard to reach all the children's needs. They all learn very differently and at different levels. I think having this type of program is great. We can evaluate the data (which we always to anyway) and evaluate who needs remediation and who can move forward (advanced) -without 20+ hours/week. It's like having a one to one educator working with each student. That is impossible in the classroom now a day. I personally, like it.

  • For some this might be solution for some it might not be. There is no right or wrong answer

  • Btw state standards are the very problem, standardization is the opposite of where learning should be. It the paradigm shift in teaching that should be addressed.

  • Mind inflow is actually correct, coming from a high school senior, this won't change anything. The only thing it proves is that if a machine can replace a teachers it should. But that doesn't mean that the machine is the best thing for the student themselves. A computer won't change anything. A different way of thinking for students from the beginning will. Children have natural inclinations that schools beat out of them from the first day of indoctrination. I did and lost it if I hadn't had a

  • You can throw my message over board by sayin it is conspiracy

but just think about it machines sovlin problems is not the way we want to educate are children in.

You can disciminate my way of thinking but if you dont have any arguments than your the one thats brainwashed.

Tell me why is it better when our kids have computers in there classrooms with programs that will teach them how the world operates ?

We can discuss but if your igonrant about the things i say theres nothing left to discuss

  • this is bull shit.

brainwashing by computers is not the answer

  • @mindinflow This is saying much more than that. Great name, but I think your mind is flowing down the toilet.

  • @grs9769 Yeah right i think you dont know shit about the plans that the elite of the world have.

Believe me this is propaganda, given are children more machines is not the solution.

  • @mindinflow Oh? LOL I bet you see conspiracies everywhere don't you? In that case, there's nothing I can say to you because your mind seems a bit brainwashed as well. Take care.

  • The future is here!

  • You said "Educators should not get sucked into marketing."

Well, they are not. But in order for this system to penetrate the classroom, some marketing needs to be done (convincing school districts, pedagogues etc.) . These are the laws of our world, you might not like it, but you cannot deny it.

Anyway, if this really interests you, you are invited to keep an eye on this evolving project. It seems to bring not less than a revolution in today's education.

  • To Setmose:

This program empowers the teacher by giving him/her a new set of teaching tools, and a very dynamic and easy environment to convey content to students.

This system also gives the teacher new ways to asses and monitor the class, both during class time and outside the class time.

It also addresses the issue of differential learning and different students' needs, by following on student achievements and giving them instant feedback and showing correct solutions.

  • Great! Teach kids how to get by in a glossy marketing-saturated universe. Engaged! Leveraged! There was not a single particle of content in this infomercial. Did anybody see **how** kids will learn arithmetic or reading better via this software? I didn't. All I heard was blah-blah-blah about an undefined "learning environment". Educators should not get sucked into marketing. Period. (From a high-tech engineer, and no luddite by the way.)

  • I actually was involved in this project and this program is huge and it teaches everything, this is only a bonus as you saw there is a teacher in the class room so stop thinking this system wont work and help students increase their reading skills because this is tested and i saw the results no one can say otherwise this is the best way to teach children and might be even grown ups.

  • It obviously didn't teach YOU not to write run-on sentences! Also, the personal pronoun "I" is capitalized in English. Even if English is not your primary language, you should be ashamed. But shame isn't even understood in today's "system", of which you are a shining exemplar.

  • I speak two more languages fluently and you are just a hater which never got laid hahaha

  • Case closed.

  • Best program ever made, hope they will make it work in the near future :)
