Looking back as an adult this show had absolutely no point but as a kid I loved it anyway! My dad used to work with Lisa Ruddy's uncle, too, so that made it even cooler. :)

YCDTOTV started in 1979 as a CJOH-TV production in Ottawa. Nickalodeon and CJOH became production partners in 1982. Though popularity in the U.S. climbed, and declined in Canada, it's still a Canadian show. Nickalodeon adopted several of their trademarks from the show, such as the green slime.

With this in mind, I encourage all to write CJOH and request that the entire series be made available on DVD. I will definitely agree with mbenzsl2000, on Nick's steep decline in quality since.

Pure enjoyment. Nickelodeon and Viacom need to get off their ass and put this show on DVD instead of shoving crap like The Xs and Catscratch down our throats. Nickelodeon was never the same after this show was canceled.
