It's about a girl who becomes a soldier to defeat monsters send by different enemies each season. First four another girls join her in the battle against the evil enemies. Each one stands for a planet of the universe. Sailor Moon herself with Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus.

In the first season it is revealed that one of the Sailor Soldiers is not only a soldier but an important reincarnation of the princess of the moon, the heir of Queen Serenity who reigned over a kingdom on the moon.

Later Sailor Pluto, Uranus and Neptune also appear in the show. First they are against Sailor Moon and her team, because they have to find the Holy Grail and for that purpose they also sacrifice the life of humans.

Something that Sailor Moon is against. Also Sailor Saturn who has the power to destroy the world appears.

In the late show the Sailor Stars appear on the earth from another solar system to find their princess who fled to the earth, because the evil Galaxia collects all star crystals there are in the universe (these crystals are only to find in the heart of a Sailor Soldier).

@5TheTearsOfSorrow5 Ja genau ^^ Aber in der Folge, als Galaxia den Silberkristall von Sailor Moon an sich gerissen hat, war Sailor Moon am sterben und da kam diese Melodie vor (Folge 199/200)... Trozdem, recht hast du ^^

Die Melody ist so traumhaft und wunderschön, dass man einfach nicht genug davon bekommt ^^

Sailor Moon war, ist und bleibt auf Ewig der beste Anime/Manga aller Zeiten..

@moxieteenz731 Actually that is princess serenity. She picked up Galaxia's Sword and sprouted wings. She flew up to Galaxia and wounded her with her own blade. Then Usagi used the crystal to purify Galaxia back to the way she once was. In the process Usagi died. The scouts and Mamouru (sp?) bring her back with their strenght.
