As a teenager, my room was PLASTERED with A-ha posters. I loved them as a kid and now that I am an adult, I can SEE why I've always had excellent taste in music ;) They have proven time and time again to be REAL musicians, who don't just conform to whatever everyone else is doing, with their own style. Harmonically speaking many of their lesser known songs are SUPERB. (Thinking about "There's Never a Forever Thing" for example). And man, they were and remained GORGEOUS!

Well said...that's why I love this band..they never have conformed to modern day rock and their songs are so unique! his voice is E P I C!

@comundson haha see what it means to be the same age? ;) Morten's voice is indeed E P I C. He has to have the best falsetto in music history, period. I can think of a couple of Motown singers who can compete but that's about it. And Phil Bailey from Earth, Wind and Fire. Morten has a ridiculous range, I've heard many fantastic singers live but man, he gives them a run for their money. Yes that was exactly what I meant, they never conformed, they had THEIR style. That's why they're so great!

I also love Out of Blue Comes Green. Such a lovely song they should have released that instead of Touchy. Glad you like The Swing.

A-ha have done some great songs on all there albums that have screamed out to be released and then chose others instead as singles. Kind of irritating but i suppose it makes us fans appreciate them even more. Rolling Thunder my favorite being the classic example of this.
