@WillMio A lot of the scripted events in this game only happen when the player activates a trigger (i.e. walking through a specific area, looking at a specific thing). You can occasionally abuse this by jumping over a trigger or looking away from a focal point. In Arcadia, the door to the exit bathysphere closes (necessitating the trip to Farmer's Market) when the player steps in a trigger, in this case, an extremely large rectangle that covers the third of the room by the door. (Cont'd below)
@eesgooshee It's possible to manipulate some physics objects to "squish" you against a tree, causing the physics engine to launch you over most of the trigger, allowing you just enough time to get through the door before it shuts. I doubt that it's possible to do in the console versions, but the speedrun (done on the PC version, of course) uses this trick. Head over to Speed Demos Archive if you want to watch it.
@bioshock729 Use all of the Wrench Tonics. Corpsethrowing (throwing dead bodies with Telekinesis) can one-shot any Splicer. Hack everything for the first two-thirds of the game. Plan out every Big Daddy fight and then lure the Big Daddy to your arena of choice by figuring out which corpse the Little Sister will go after and moving it there. The best Plasmids are the free ones (though Winter Blast is useful once the Thuggish Splicers are electrified). You'll have plenty of ADAM to play with.
your voice is annoying .
Just kidding
