The windshield is called windwrap. They are available for for most recumbents. If you search for "windwrap fairing" you will be able to look up one for your bike.

excelent commuting bike! I love the fainring. IF you get some way to put batteries under the seat will get a better weight distribution. Nice job!

what kind of range do you get on the battery?

I have gone 100 km before with some very fast riding. The range is as far as you can pedal. The battery and motor I like to think of as an assist or for getting up to speed. I pedal for exercise and to increase range. It is easy to maintain speed under your own power.

Where did you get that mid drive system??? I have my motor(s) picked out and was planing on a independent left drive system but this looks like you can change gears! How cool. Where did you get it and can I get it online?
