Saying this, there are quite a few reasons why they hate fundamentalists and no different than those in the past as they are exactly against the beliefs -the five fundamentals of the faith but kind of coy about it. What I am saying perhaps Bro cloud already said and am not aware of it. I am siure most knows that the emergent church despises the bible more than anything for with the bible-they have to be very careful. With no bible-free for all. first, they are very modern-Exi9stentialism and Romantacismare the two philosophies they use. There is a belief called Emergent Evolution in Philosophy and yes this is what they are associated with-no better than Rationalists in the 19th century

@stevelovesgod But the context of the passage refers previously to the judgement of the wicked and the second coming of Jesus with His Saints to Israel- that is what happens after the man of sin is revealed not the rapture- there are many exegesis which proves pre-trib rapture - and also in Jesus expresson of us as the bride- look at the ancient wedding feast- the bride comes in the night after an unknown period of time to take His bride to a prepared part of His father house

@jinkyfc Satan is always after the youth. If he can take one generation of Godfearing people out, he knows the generations afterwards will fall from lack of knowing God. This is what happened when they took prayer out of the schools in the 60's. If you research crimes and diseases, and pregnancies of teens before it was taken out of schools as opposed to after, you'll see what I'm talking about.
