I was actually in Charleston the first weekend in November...We went to get away after I got back from PA. I was thinking about calling you but I wasn't much fun to be around then. Oh, and you can buy a USB microphone that plugs straight into your computer for about $30. It's not a perfect set-up but it's the simplest way to upgrade from the built-in lap top microphone... there is so much technology that can help you get good audio... I'd be happy to msg you if you want! But honestly, you sound amazing in this video, so you're doing just fine without your bathroom! :)

I think my voice has weakened over time. I really need to take some lessons and do vocal warm ups daily. I know I could strengthen it again, but I just have not had the proper tools to do it on my own. I hate getting old!

Depending on your computer, you can get my setup for about 150 to 200 bucks, if that: M-Audio Fast Track Pro, with MXL 990 microphone and power supply. Easy recording, that's how I've done all my songs so far. :)
Do you sing them directly into the system and then lip sync for the videos? BTW, how have you been? Is the band still doing well? Are you playing more often? Is there a CD I can buy yet?
I left the band, my channel is all my own - in most of my vids I'm lip-syncing. Go ahead and take a gander at all the new vlogs and vids and you'll see how things go now. ;)

It is so funny, even though I know I look different to others, I cant see the difference myself. I see it when I look at old pics, but new pics look the same to me. Its weird. Tish. Fix it in post. Not an expert on music but I clear up a lot of a/v problems simply by using Audacity (free from sound forge) and Sony Vegas Pro. Sony has smaller packages (Movie Studio 9 series $55-$115). All have trial downloads. On this video a slight Audacity echo (Delay Time 0.1, Delay factor 0.25) helps and perhaps a equalization effect (load RCA 1947). Add that back to the Movie studio audio tracks along with the original instrumental. Cost to test - free. - Peter

You don't have to go to the store. (See my YT message for links.)You shouldn't need a mic. Load the original video into the Movie studio from the computer. Render the audio track from that to a wav or wmv format (File > Render as..). Open the Render in Audacity. Make the sound changes, save the changes as a new audio file and load the edited file back into a separate Movie Studio track and sync.

I think my voice has weakened over time. I really need to take some lessons and do vocal warm ups daily. I know I could strengthen it again, but I just have not had the proper tools to do it on my own. I hate getting old!

Depending on your computer, you can get my setup for about 150 to 200 bucks, if that: M-Audio Fast Track Pro, with MXL 990 microphone and power supply. Easy recording, that's how I've done all my songs so far. :)

I left the band, my channel is all my own - in most of my vids I'm lip-syncing. Go ahead and take a gander at all the new vlogs and vids and you'll see how things go now. ;)

We are just never satisfied though..when I was fat I thought I would be happy thin..now that I am thin I think I cant be happy untill I have better hair..once the hair grows, Im gonna start complaining that my teeth arent white enough. I am still trying to get use to how you look now but when you start to sing I know it is still you. I really love that song and you sang it so beautiful! It is so funny, even though I know I look different to others, I cant see the difference myself. I see it when I look at old pics, but new pics look the same to me. Its weird. Its the same when I look at my clothes. My size 8 pants look as big as my size 18s did 11 months ago. Its a cruel mind game!

Tish. Fix it in post. Not an expert on music but I clear up a lot of a/v problems simply by using Audacity (free from sound forge) and Sony Vegas Pro. Sony has smaller packages (Movie Studio 9 series $55-$115). All have trial downloads. On this video a slight Audacity echo (Delay Time 0.1, Delay factor 0.25) helps and perhaps a equalization effect (load RCA 1947). Add that back to the Movie studio audio tracks along with the original instrumental. Cost to test - free. - Peter

You don't have to go to the store. (See my YT message for links.)You shouldn't need a mic. Load the original video into the Movie studio from the computer. Render the audio track from that to a wav or wmv format (File > Render as..). Open the Render in Audacity. Make the sound changes, save the changes as a new audio file and load the edited file back into a separate Movie Studio track and sync.

Beautiful Tish! You AND the Song :) One of my fav's for sure. A guy I grew up with would sing this most christmas' at Christmas Eve Service. He was killed in a car accident in Jan'04, so this song is close to my heart! You did it justice for sure :)

I tell you, I thank God for moving you to do this song. I really needed to here this right at the moment I played it. I was thinking about my mom and my first Christmas without her. I needed to release my deep sorrow with tears and I couldn't do it until I clicked play on this video. Soon as I heard your voice I know God heard my tears falling. Thank you again.
