WTF!! If you want to recycle it then throw it in the bin. If you do throw it in the bin the bottle will be reused for the making of new bottles. In Finland we take those bottles back to shop and get 40cents from it. And then we melt them and make new bottles of that plastic. I think it's better way of recycling that use it first on something nonsense and then throw it away.

I would recommend only using vinegar for that weed; herbicides create more danger that they help, in that they disturb important microbiology. I, for one, know that stinging wasps can go elsewhere if they choose, and I choose to keep them out of my picnic area with a trap that's safe for my and my pets.
