  • SOOOOOOOOOO DIRTY.

  • This is a old video of Delhi....much has changed since renovation of many areas prior to the Commonwealth Games.

  • I think India's settlement is like Indonesia

  • omg so many honks

  • I had admiration for Delhi but honesty people of Delhi r very rude. They not show any respect to a stranger. Delhi is not one of best city in the world its dirty but they think they r something. The tone of language is very rough.

  • Hello, I am from Sialkot (Punjab), Pakistan. I have had been very interested to visit India, especially OLD and NEW DELHI, but unfortunately we do not have any relatives in India, so I really enjoyed seeing movies of OLD and NEW DELHI. God bless; who uploaded this video.

  • I live in New Delhi since 2006, till now. There many, many kinds of Things , Sorts of Colours, and many, many types of people in here like the movies. But, I wonder that there are no any LOVE in humanity, but in animals. They are more love on the animals who cann't foster to the country than Human. So, New Delhi will never be strengthen in among the World, I guarantee for that.

  • mr nodding cat ,i am an indian and i know very well dat paharganj lies in old delhi not in new delhi, well to tell u something d capital new delhi lies in delhi!! i think foreignors don't know much abt india!

  • @MrJefe29

Paharganj is just off the Chelmsford Road or Quatab Road, opposite NEW DELHI RAILWAY TERMINUS. Once you have crossed the rails and travelled north a little, you are in OLD DELHI. You need to pass the Wall that surrounds Old Delhi to be in Old Delhi!

Paharganj is approx 1/2 mile from the nearest gate in this wall, and hence in New Delhi.

I'm not sure what the point is in being wrong each time Mrjefe. This is a film of New Delhi.

Check any map or street atlas.

  • @MrJefe29 Sir is paharganj not exactly opposite new delhi station?

  • dis is not new delhi, its old delhi! new delhi is much more cleaner

  • I feel living in New Delhi is as well as living among wildTigers. They manners are look like both human and animal. I live in New Delhi since 2006.

  • There are more children in India scoring honours than there are school children in all of America. India breeds more than any other country in the world. A couple of interesting facts I've come across recently.

I admire the culture. And the food looks amazing. I'm surprised as so much English being used but I guess the Brits had a lot of influence.

Hello I'm caucasian Canadian! Peace to all!

  • i have been there w00t :D

  • I watched lots of "new india clips", looks like 20 years ago in China.

Please, come back to reality, indians....

  • i love the video. thanks for posting

  • i live in Puspanjali Farms :P

    next to the new Runway

  • o my gosh, New Delhi is very similar to Kebayoran Market in Jakarta...

  • Hi Mr Umer, I fuly agree with you. Nice comment. Thanks, we need more of us to drown the politicians of both countries

  • Indian wants to compete with China???? What's a laugh thing for ever seen!!

If Idian people have same spirit as Chinese people do then Indian may catch up what China has today in 30 years later that means in recently India is just like China 30 years ago.

  • @rico8257 u shitt this is not current India.. u cant see the uploaded date of video..?.. lol.. everybody knows who is competing with whom .. haha

  • so dirty.

  • fucking

  • Looks like Los Angeles.

  • The open market system...love it....miss it here

ofcourse the beautiful streets are not shot in this video.

  • a shithole country

  • visit once then give these bad statements, i dnt knw which country u belongs to but i m sure your country must be importing lot many things from here u freak!!

  • How much we talk about India is more advanced then europe in everything i am a cook and only in that i can agree and i like indian food spicy and hot :)

  • It's illogical captain. You want something? House boat in Kashmere or something from Manali sir?

  • thanx for sharing but i must tell you that things have been changed a lot since 2007 in new delhi , in your video construction was going on everywhere, lack of variety in your video, you should come again

  • @ma98h

Speaks some one who hasn't been anywhere.

  • @ma98h i doubt indians want you in india anyway moron.

  • @ma98h this sounds like a typical paki motherfucker out of sum slum in london........

  • @ma98h Yeah you lock yourself in your clean, safe bubble, while we go out and experience the real world. Jesus, how snobby can you get.

  • nice music.

  • Well done video... wasn't some of the first pics of Old Delhi... with the elephant? I first visited Delhi in 1964 and taught at the Modern School on Barakhamba Road (Connaught Circus key pas.) I have been back 3 times since my retirement 7 years ago and enjoy the spirit and friendliness of the people. My favorite food here in the US is Bharat Khanna... subzi samosa aur "barfi."

  • must be an adventure to be there.

  • Namaskaram. Thank u 4 the Vid. In 2 weeks, I will be flying to New Delhi as my first experience Abroad. However, I have difficulty w/ mobility due to a broken vertebrae (bilateral Spondylolisthesis) a source of daily chronic pain. Will I be able to survive New Delhi? I walk w/ a cane and am traveling with a fellow devotee. With knowledge & devotion we will certainly live thru this experience, but if anyone can message me about traveling in Varanasi & Delhi (w/ a broken back) please inform me.

  • you Americans kill me wanting to go visit wastelands. Don't bring back no new disease

  • Lahori Bazaars got same resemblance of Delhi Bazaars.

One thing that neither India nor Pakistan can neglect that both of us have to stay together till the end of world.

  • @Muzammil787

Exactly dear! I agree with you. India and Pakistan are inseparable. Eastern Pakistan and North India have so much common between them. Urdu and Hindi are not much different when it comes to listening. And our cuisines, outfits, styles of living... they haven't quite changed over the past 60 years!!!

  • Ahhhh I want to go there!!!

  • bhi bahut badiaya

  • anyone knows the music title?please

  • Refreshed my memeories. I saw the places we hang out a lot, my Dads ofice building and same old irregulated traffic. Good job

Great video. Am flying into Delhi and probably stay there for a few days before going onto Jaipur. What should I go and see in Delhi? Any tips?

    Thanks

  • Loved the vid!! I'm hoping to be in delhi next summer. You've given me something to look forward to. Thank you.

  • i love delhi

  • Thanks for the video. My son leaves for New Delhi in the morning, so this helps me see a little a what he'll be seeing during the next couple of months. I liked the elephant and the Indian version of "If I Were a Rich Man".

  • Nice film. Captures the essence of Delhi and the huge contrasts!

  • nice to see a balanced view.

    Ya banned fucka!

  • I am Filipino and I wish I can visit Dehli and Bombay someday.:) India is rich in culture and of course I am a proud Asian and I'm proud of my Indian brothers.:) I have a lot of Indian friends here in America and they're cool.:)

  • nice to know your all the way from filipino ;)

  • @AcousticVibesSF

India and other 3rd world countries can be interesting places to visit, people are different around the world, we need to respect others cultures, languages, and lifestyles. Even in 1st world countries like ours, we can always learn from other people in other countries......

  • take a chill pill, and relax!

  • watch our home videos from india! click on frittsfamilyvideos!

  • Tis India... should have shown the metro underground to Old Delhi, and the Modern School where I taught in 1965. Bharat..subsey achaa desh!

  • They Metro wasn't there when I made the film.

  • Shekondogxxx, you are a proud indian, but have little faith in yourself and your nation. That may not be the case but the frustration you show above makes people believe that way. If you are a true indian and have culture of india that you claim is older than history, then please demonstrate some restrain on your emotions and on your ever som fast moving tongue. this might help you in your daily life too.

If you dont like what i said, please disregard every thing i said.

    Boom Shiva!

  • Om Bom....

    Shanti! the pair of you!

  • Delhi! My favourite city in the whole world! I miss it desperately

  • Awesome.

  • I have been there before. Had visited Taj Mahal and Arg Fort. Interesting experience and culture. But I wasn't very used to the food there. Had a bad diarrhea. Moreover, you can actually see animals such as cows and camels moving down the road!

  • Please - Stop complaning. The tropical climate and so so sanitary conditions cause delhi belly - which is a precaution every western traveller should take..

Have you eaten in a cheap nasty restaurant in Harlem/Camden or some ghetto of US ? Or a redneck diner in rural AL?

At least in Delhi no negro will shoot you for a $5 bill.

I rather eat in delhi & get a diahhroea than go to american ghettos and get lead in my stomach.

India is the living proof of "working chaos"

  • I'm not complaining. Please, I praised New Delhi to have "Interesting experience and culture". Its just that I was not used to the food there; therefore, I had diarrhea. Okay? Please don't be too emotional or sensitive. Read what I wrote. Thankyou.

  • Yes thanks for your comment - I am not emotional.

Most Indians do not care about "praises" or "insults" from western or foreign tourists.

Our civilization (sometimes hard to spot in the rusty cow dung belt of north india) is older than History - our religion pre dates anything organized.

History will come and pass by - but we will be still there chugging at a pace of a bullock cart.

One that has no beginning - one that has no end: An essence of Hinduism and India

  • Eendiah, de laahgest deemahkrasi een de vehrald! Pawah to Eendiah! Eendiah vill be de Sooopa-Pawah in tdwantie-tdwantie!

Oh noooo, I've got the Delhi Belly. Be right back!

  • I SOOOOOO badly ant to tour INdia if only the flights were not 7000 dollars hmmmmmm

  • 7000 dollars from where ?

  • Very Nice Video. I am myself a delhite but still loved watching this video.

  • lol i laughted hard.

  • was that on your way to the in-ga-lish class?

  • Wonderful!!!

  • I so want to visit India!!!

  • ive never encountered such scum then in new delhi railway station... god damn vermin even the folks who work there

  • What an enlightened view point....

  • In that case, who asked you to come to delhi in the first place... you are not welcome in my city...

  • new delhi is a dump

  • so is your face

  • Can you afford to buy a decent place in this DUMP delhi ? COsts a LOT more than you think

I bet your tin foiled hat scum rat brain you cannot.

  • I have never encountered SCUM as in ghettos of NYC and PA, Camden & Oakland CA - how can a civilized nation like USA have such low life sub humans breeding on its fertile soil ?

DO NOT COME TO DELHI - go visit Harlem next time and carry a torch for your APES and Afrro - American brothers.

  • Wow! I can only dream to be able to visit India now, Nice vid!

  • I am a Pakistani, and i live in canada, every now and then i watch these videos involving india and i always get this feeling that india is very similar to pakistan, we have so much in common,my love for people of india and pakistan increaes, we are beautiful people,we should live with peace like brothers,...cause we are brothers:).....with love fro PAKISTAN, (UMER BIN BASHIR ARAIN)

  • I've been in India at the beginning of this year. A taxi driver in Delhi told me the same. People from India and Pakistan are very similar and are quite fond of each other. Unfortunately it is always the same, the politicians are the reason for the conflicts among themselves.

  • Pakistanis were once Indians or from Bharat.

Thats history - now we are GLAD not to be like you & your doomed nation.

We are NOT Pakis - Most Pakis are not welcome in India.

A lot of pakis in US and UK hide behind "i am from south asia" curtain to avoid public embarrassment.

Please do not use "india" or its adjectives to hide from reality

  • Why speed it up? It's fast enough in real life! Amazing place and amazing people ! Going back next year.

  • Gorgeous! Thanks a lot...I' m going this summer I can't wait

  • I loved India when I went. I didn't go to Delhi, but I loved the culture, I really could live in India when I'm older, I want to sit on a doorstep with a newspaper (Times of India, Hindustani Times etc) and just watch the world go by.......... happy days.

  • india parents pick their sons n daughters husbands n wifes its called arranged marriage usually they marry their own race

  • They also eat curry!... What a curious pointless comment.

  • north indians don eat curry.

  • Europeans have done arranged marriage too!

It is a cultural phenomenon which occur(ed) in the nations who hold the greatest cultures.

  • Birmingham, UK

  • Very well made. Having spend 25 yrs in Delhi, around that area, I enjoyed every clip. Best part was that people were oblivious of the elephant walking in their midst. If you had added a little commentary, it would have looked like any episode of "Zaika India Ka" Best wishes and God bless.

  • are you from india from that part

  • a very well edited video..kudos...u captured the real 2 way essence of d city...old n new..

  • Guys New Delhi And Old Delhi Are Different So Please Dont Mix Into One........................

This Is Old Delhi, New Delhi Is Highly Developed

  • you are mistake, the footage was shot mainly in New Delhi, around pahaganj and Connaught place.

There is a bit shot around Chandhani Chowk in Old Delhi however...
