For the last 8-9 years BCU has had amazing entrances, but their shows always go downhill from there. If the could ever put on a full show, FAMU would be in trouble. But until then...

First of all, it is in debt not debit. Secondly, we were being investigated for mismanagement but we still have plenty of cash flow as we are a PUBLIC university. BCU has never given us any money. Lastly, don't take our classic rivalry and make it ugly! I am a rattler, one brother is a Hampton Pirate and the other is BCC Wildcat. Support all HBCUs, and for the record BCC has had the same experience in the past. Get your facts straight.

ummm of course they dont sound the same and its hard to hear them. theyre facing the other way smartness. both schools are run down and both schools have good bands. cookman's is just better. fam is forever hating. go find some money for your college, teach ur band how to make a straight line, and quit relying on that little superbowl performance to make u look good, cause sweetie i saw it and it was NOT good.

This is so unneccesary. And, I am not blind, I am a realist. Neither schools show was that fabulous. Freaky Girl and Shorty is a 10 are too slow for a dance routine and FAMU played Soulja Boy, that is old. I was just not that impress with these two performances. But I do like to see both universities.

No, BCC did not kill FAMU; BCC is not so bad, but they needs to work on clarity of some of their music and FAMU did not kill BCC either, but FAMU did better. Moreover, our resume is covered with excellence so it will be hard to not recognize our excellence. On the otherhand, BCC tries extra hard to be better than Us, FAMU just give an original show with relaxation and clarity of music.

Even on this video you cannot tell some of the songs, the sound and intonation was just average at some parts this is true for both universities and the 100 played congratulations 20 years ago but I will respect it as both Trudie and Mary are my sorors. Congrats to BCU.

Thank you for the congradulatins, but on the real. Apples to Apples, FAMU didn't play anything new. Their colabiration was not modern. So what's really the fuss. They bother did well.

I would suggest you check the spelling. Congratulations, collaboration. But, I stills say neither band was that fabulous. BCU put on a better show at the Battle of the Band. But FAMU typically plays a higher quality arrangement and with a more balanced sound. They did good, but neither school showed its best at this year's classic. The best band that I saw this year was Norfolk State.

My bad, my apologies to you and my fellow Wildcats. I have to agree with you regarding the sound quality. However, I strongly believe that the best two HBCU Marching Bands in this nation are from the great state of Florida and that's something we all have to be proud of that BCU and FAMU represents Florida well in their own manner, respectively.

actually the last two songs of the concert ballad medley were new (never played before by FAMU). but if u meant new as in contemporary then the first 2 songs were from 1998 and 2001 which is pretty new compared to vesta williams

I am a tried and true rattler the intro was hot but the rest of the show was too slow and boring to tell the truth. We had a better show but both bands disappointed me this year.
