  • goddammit all the saddest moments from that movie are coming back to choke my heart again ... i love this theme and the movie it's from, but it's just so hard to keep your mind or your stomach at peace while u listen to it :'(

  • Wonderful Melody

  • Filmed by a pencil?

  • Got to play the solo myself, had difficulty getting through the whole thing without getting a bit teary. powerful song, and a great preformance here.

  • We will never learn. The only time I see human beings putting our small differences aside and coming together are if little aliens come down and threaten humans and the planet. I cant see this happening. Or if the planet is threatened by a massive asteroid and we only have days to live. This could happen. Or if we are threatened by a disease like bird or swine flu that kills millions of people, and doesnt discriminate agains rich or poor, black or white, young or old, Christian Jew Muslim...

  • Ignorance is the father of hate and its mother is religion.

  • islamofascism is the father of hate and its mother is socialism

  • Hmm if you speed it up, it sounds like the Harry Potter Theme.

  • The movie was really difficult to handle in some spots, too.

  • Deserved the oscar, and then some. Great power is made perfect in weakness. This. Is. Powerful.

  • @Shugo541- Why do you think that is?

  • great movie.....since im 12 i had to watch it a few times to really understand it

  • simplemente bello

  • Theme from Schindler's List I taked to play on cello,so people started to cry...

  • One of the most poignant pieces ever written for film, conveys so much pain, sorrow and suffering. Beautiful playing by Bing Wang, until now I thought nobody could play this as well as Itzhak Perlman.

  • that is hot stuff yeah i need it XD

  • John williams is great, and you better listen to this next guy's music.

write the word FREAKOLLO in the search tab and you'll get to an awsome music which is splited into 2 parts.

  • the 1948 Smith-Mundt Act was meant to protect Americans from the Psychological Operations (PSYOP) waged by the USA govt against enemy nations. But in truth the destructive holocaust PSYOP has always victimized Americans the same as the Germans. Untold billions of USA taxpayer dollars have gone to fund Israel which was established solely on the basis of the bogus holocaust claims. The WW2 victors ruthlessly destroyed the irreplaceable ambiance of Poland with the "death camps" propaganda.

  • @chwadazat

Obviously you live in a world of dreams that causes you to conjure up your ridicules thinking to change history to agree with your bigoted and confused mind.

  • un pezzo struggente, disperato come pochi pochi... eppure sembra poi evocare una pace ...pure misericordia? mah... come si fa a non pensare alla tragica epopea del popolo ebraico.... e a non commuoversi?

  • this song always gives me chills

  • @Gunnybunny353 same here, always.

  • who is the violinist?

  • Is that me or the conductor look like the KFC guy?

  • @Ohgod95 colonel sanders duudddeee.... that man is a national treasure. you should know his name

  • @Ohgod95 the conductor is john williams

  • @Ohgod95 Don't make fun of John Williams. The man is a genius.

  • precioso

  • Very emotional...yes brings tears to my eyes...and not many things do! Check out the original recording artist (Yitzhak Perlman) also...amazing!

  • very nice

  • this superb music makes me crying.. also if i thing to the that desperate film...

  • John Williams it amazing. Complete master of emotion through music.

You can see from his previous scores that he favours the violin. I love the cello :P he does too... Woohoo :D

    Once again, AMAZING!!!

  • zo mooi en rakend vertolkt.

Dit raakt me waar woorden niet bij kunnen komen , waar het verstand ophoud .

dank je wel voor het plaatsen

  • Je haalt me het onzegbare uit de mond

  • Well that just brought a grown man to tears. *snif*

  • Me too! That violin was weeping! I hope I can make mine do that some day.

  • Shameo.

  • so beautifully played

  • People are evil.

  • Wow........ makes me silent... and cry a tear..

This violinist,.. she plays it with so much emotion...

(listening to it, it caries me .. to that terrible time in history..)

this is one unique Amazing piece of art.... ..Beautiful!!... and sad at the same time...

Thanks for the posting!..., (( this is one of the most beautiful versions of this great piece of music i've ever heard!!..))

  • I gave a brief look at the description and thought the violinist's name was something else, she play beautifully, I'm ganna go youtube her.

  • An outstanding perfomance! There is so much emotion in this song, so much sorrow and grief, out of this world ! I have a huge admiration for the exceptionnal talent of John Williams.

  • Perlman's is by far and away the best.

  • SEMPLICEMENTE MERAVIGLIOSA!

  • we just played this in a concert

our orchestra took our best 4 violinist and broke the solo part up so they could all play

we then put then all around the stage to have a surrounding effect

    absolutely beautiful in every way

  • I cry every time I hear this piece. It's so beautiful. One of the best movie themes I've ever heard. ;-;

Perfectly played too, right speed, dynamics, everything.

  • could someone just delete this comment from "AgeOfUniversalDeceit"?

  • lol, done. people marked it as spam even before i was able to see what he wrote

  • wonderful piece!!!

  • Perfect execution of this piece...

  • ive been looking at other videos of this violin piece and this lady just hit it perfectly not too fast not too slow man just perfect

  • icredibly beautiful

  • wow !!!!!!! v sad im crying now

  • This music always makes me wanna cry. It's so sweet and sad in one and reminds of what happens almost half a century ago. Sometimes I think it's like getting a glimpse of the idea how jewish people must have felt then. And having this feeling is simply overwhelming to me.

Williams knows exactly how to adress an audience, even one that didn't live at that time.

  • Well said.. :)

  • Beautiful

  • In response to flyer2005 and danmarino500-derka derka derka mumma geehad?

  • One word required. Beautiful. Again it seems, a masterpiece by Mr John Williams.

  • damn goosebumps go down already

  • Music soo sweet that is like making love. John Williams is amazing. He composed few of the most beautiful music pieces that ever existed in the world.

  • Oh no? of course not? How about.... every nazi in the world?

  • Im fucking pissed at people like you claiming there were no holocaust! Did you live at that time? What do you think Auschwitz was for? A prison? A holiday camp? OR HELL?? I have been there, i know how it looks like, I have seen photos. And you, a danish prick, a nazi, claims like a lot other nazis, that there were not consentration camps, no holocaust. Yeah, live happy, world is safe, its what you think, and what your nazi leaders says it is. Guess what? Youre wrong.

  • Extremely well played

  • Meraviglioso ,GRAZIE

  • Beautiful performance but, dear green Tleaf, I think you should do some editing out of the moronic comments on your video.

  • This song is so incredibly beautiful!

  • So many internet tough guys :/ I wish people could simply enjoy the music they're listening to, instead of feeling the need to argue over whether who's a better composer or how many times you cried during Schindler's List or another trifle matter. Please, shut up, I'm tired of reading a constant stream of blatantly ignorant comments.

  • well said!

  • what degenerate posters we have here!

  • Schindler's List theme, and Superman too - what a composer.

That is a great range by anybody's standards.

  • Das lied geht schon ab ...

  • I love her, I see her every year at the Hollywood Bowl, I want a picture with her.

  • me encanta la musica

    muy conmovedor

  • I have never seen Schindler's List before, but when I first herd this song, I felt very moved and wanted to see the movie but is very hard to find the movie.

  • There was a copy for rent at my local Blockbuster. Do you have one near you, cause that's where you could find it.

  • who is ther soloist???

  • oh my gawd! when is this?

    I LOOOVE JOHN WILLIAM! he's a genius!!

  • es increible, se oye estupendo, no hay palabras para describirlo, transmite tristeza, me hace recordar la pelicula, todo lo ke la gente debió de haber sufrido.

  • Is that Santa conducting?

  • I went to see this film 5 times and cried most of the time every single time.

  • i laughed a few times. had a shocked expression most of the time. i think the only time i really cried was at the end when he lamented that "i could have saved one more person, and i didn't"..

  • You didn't cry when he shot that boy? If you laughed at any part of that movie and were sitting next to me? I would make you a woman in the sweet moon-light.

  • Nope.

Yeah, ok, you'd be choked out on the floor like a bitch within 30 seconds.

  • It takes you 30 seconds to choke someone out? What a loser. You want my address? You can come over and see if the internet tough guy routine works face to face. Any time, Sally.

  • Hmmm.. so, your whole "choking out" thing only works if people let you choke them out? Wonderful Just shut up and enjoy the music, if you are able. The only reason I really reply is so that I have an excuse to listen again. Seriously, come on over and we can work it out. I am at your moms house. Tell her to make me some tacos, and get you some of those super man band-aids you like so much. You know, for after you "choke me out."

  • Dude, did you even read what the fuck I wrote? Or are you one of those ADD retards? Don't worry, the Army or something will sort you right out. They might even let you burn the shitters!

  • Sorry, think I was assuming you meant "gay sex" by tussle time. You seem a little repressed, and I don't want to egg you on. But seriously, your moms tacos suck. Tell her to use some real freaking chicken. God, She is totally needy. She told me your dad was the guy at the welfare office. She said you always try and spy on her when she is changing. Not cool dude, not cool. Your family is way too perverted I am out of here! Tell your mom to stop calling.

  • Ah yes, the age old "fagot" retort. Only problem is that you spelled "Fagot" wrong. I am not sure a little girl should be using words like that anyway. You should stick to Ken dolls and give up keyboards, Sally.

  • When I listen to this song the first time I couldnt stop to cry (its so sad and beautiful)

Last weekend I saw Schindler's list (one more time) and I cried again. I play it on my piano when I feel blue. John Williams simply the best!!!

  • essa mulher ao violino é o ser mais maravilhoso do mundo.

  • Free palestina..

  • Right! Free of Palestinians.

  • oh... this was a very touch song for me i love it.....

  • This is so beautiful. We played it in Symphony Orch at my school for a concert, and afterwards pretty much everyone was crying. The soloist was one of the best i'd ever heard, and he's only 16.

  • This so great and agree John Williams winning his 5th Academy Award for the score of 'Schindler's List is his best work to date i feel :-)

  • what i find particularly amazing is that John Williams is not even Jewish, yet by listening to the music of Fiddler on the Roof, he was able to write this absolute masterpiece as if he were Jewish his entire life. such a genius he is

  • John Williams won his 5th Academy Award for the score of 'Schindler's List' and it was well deserved.

  • see Irena Sendler saved 2500 Jewish children from Ghetto. "Life In A Jar" Kansas. Brave Woman.

  • if only i too could match my hands to my mind! jolly well done! X.

  • No not crazy, just completely without of any human feeling.

  • Thanks for that rant. It more than proves what kind of 'person' you are. Angry, pathetic and childish.

  • Well, I'm also entitled to my opinion, and I'll mark your comment down because of your lack of class. By the way, your language doesn't exactly help your argument. How can you call other people immature when you have to go that low?

  • A wonderful movie and a wonderful score

  • That song makes me cry

  • Comment removed

  • it almost makes me cry

  • cool

  • The ring said "whoever saves one life, saves the world entire". And that part of the movie always makes me cry!

  • i remeber the scene when Schindler had to leave the factory behind and his Workers gace him a ring with a jewish saying engraved on it,i forgot what it was but it made him break down!

  • why are you trying to deny such horrible mistakes. there is so much prof of auschwitz. i have been there, seen it all, read it all, and done so much reasearch. it had unfortunatly happend. and it is unfortunatly apart of manys lives.

we should remember these times as a time of strugle and anguish, and how we had gotten out before it was too late.

  • oh, did you?;)

  • Better performance is the one from Itzhak Perlman . I really love John Williams and I think this song is the best I've ever composed.

  • you removed the guitar theme due to terms of violation?! are you drunk people?!?

  • this music shows the depths of human emotion and love. sounds gay but its true. and how those nazis glorify their leader adolf hitler for ordering the deaths of millions of innocent people, both jewish and non-jewish alike

  • Dosn't Have The Emotion That Itzhak Perlman put into it

  • I have to agree this performance is good the guy plays all the notes correctly but Itzhak just put his heart into it and when IP plays it, if you dont cry, your just not human

  • 3dude6, I have watched IP's performance on YT and I have to disagree with you. Wang's performance is truly magnificient, it's as if his violin is in anguish. I thought IP's performance was slightly rushed and thus lacked that depth.

  • Music matches the music perfectly to the film.

  • this song reminds me of the holocoust. the worst thing is that human dont learn from the mistakes. its happening in dafur but at a smaller scale. but it still is. it really dont dont matter whether your a jew or muslim who agress with me. and some people get this wrong. islam is really about peace. i read that a muslim should be kind to any religion any skin colour any ne. even if you killed the familly

  • Great Video by the way, John Williams is an excellent composer.

  • The differences between a Nazi and a Jew... different believes.

The smiliarities between a Nazi and a Jew...

    we're all humans.

You don't see "dumb" animals fighting over religion. Get over it ppl. Religion is a teaching of moral believes, so stop listening to every word of it and think for yourselves.

  • The first time I heard this song, it make me cry.

  • beatiful song very impresive john williams is a genius

  • and thirdly, this music is about the suffering by millions. NOT JUST israel or palestine but:

    *jews*homosexuals*political opponants*gypsies*russian POW's

    *partisans

*anyone else that opposed the NSDAP regime and there is a german ryme to this:

"lieber gott mach mi stumm des i j anet ins KZ inekumm" (please god make me mute that I dont end up in a concentration camp)

  • is it just me, or does it actually sound like the violin's crying?

  • shes goood :D.

  • Well, no...Nazionalsozialisten (Nazis) and Neo-Nazis are two different groups...the Neo-Nazis only think they are acting like "real" Nazis, but they´re even more dumb...

  • Just to be fair, Yes Israel did invade land that wasnt given to them but it was in a war started by the Arab Nations where Israel were only defending themselves, They took over a region that was out of control and violent and have done a better job than the British and the Muslims. Now more on-top good song.

  • In English it's called Jordan, not Jordania. Before the founding of Israel the land comprising Jordan and Israel together was called Transjordan.

and, btw, Israel got those disputed lands after Syria, Egypt and Jordan jointly attacked Israel and got the surprise of their lives when Israel repelled them and captured land in the process.,, they underestimated Israel and paid a price for it.

  • wow, you idiots, it's in the past

  • kernal sanders

  • I´m from Germany (20yrs.) and I must comment, that I´m really ashamed of what has happened here about 65 years ago. This song should make everyone stop for a moment and remember the unforgivable.

Right at the moment the sound of this song enters my ear, it leaves my head through my eye as a tear.

  • Hello! Congratulations for your thought! I'm from Greece (37yrs.) and feel this way too!

  • I am from Holland (14) and I am thinking that way to

  • I am from England (19) and feel the same way.

  • he is 20 years old...why the hell should he be ashamed for what his grand parents did?...it wasn´t him....stop judging the new generation ....we are all looking for peace

  • What a wonderful way of expressing your thought.. so true and poetic!

  • It's music like this that makes time and history so much more poignant...That's the beauty of music.

  • Hitler, a coward. Killing himself as everything crashed around his ears.

  • Yeah, alexwales93. He definitely was the biggest fucking coward ever. Plus: he blamed the lost war on the german people.

Back to the music: simply gorgeous, in my opinion it's Williams's finest score.

  • I wish the Red Army would have captured him.

  • Zarzoon: well the Russian army did find him dead with his wife in a bunker and performed an autopsy on his body before dumping his ashes into a river somewhere (i forgot the name) so I think we can safely establish that Hitler is most likely dead. DUmbass lol

  • dont be so rude to users they are people to!

  • questo è un video strepitoso specialmente la musica...!!

  • this conversation is absolutely disgusting...and all over a piece of extraordinarily beautiful music.

im SO curious to know where ignorance stems from.

  • Not religious. But I AM human. This touches me beyond the place of any Earth-inspired Gods.

  • great song

  • I just hope that everone knows that not every german is a Nazi- we are NOT!!!! Although there are still groups of neonazis, the mayority has a very sane mind!!

  • For John Williams to capture the horror, emotion, history, and tragedy of that time period in less than 5 minutes is a true mark of an everlasting brilliance, and the mark of a true master at his best.

  • John Williams at his best ....

  • meraviglioso, semplicemente meraviglioso! Brava!!!!!

  • 1000% awesome.

Anyone wanna know how music can be labelled "EMOTIONAL"...this is a prime example!!!

  • amazing video!

the film was very emotion and i love this song so much! x

  • Wonderful1!! John Williams must be pround :)

we're here to listen to the music, aren't we?

  • lol.

znate onu: "srbin tolko laže da sam sebi vjeruje". a povijest tolko uveličava da misli da ima pravo na pola europe.

  • I WAS THERE!!!

  • one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written.
