There is something magical about his words, his voice, and his attitude. I can't even put it into words, but everytime I read a poem of his, or I hear a recording of him reading a poem, or when he is singing with The Doors, I get this strange sensation. He pulls at my heart, but it doesn't make me sad or happy, it makes me want to see more, to be free, to forget about society, and their controlling ways. He make me feel like my true self. And I thank you for that, Jim Morrison.

I couldn't put it down and i couldn't forget it when it was over. Haunted as though a part of him was left inside me. Since then, I've been on YouTube when ever I can, looking for, listening to, absorbing, more and more of who this amazing man was. There is a "doors" album called "an american prayer"

In parts it has music added.

I personally don't like it.

I like to hear jim's word's pure, and simple. In only the delivery he could give.

however "the american prayer" is sad. Its like a man summing up his life and his thoughts thereof. I guess the band members of the doors wanted to remember jim, or project jim in a good light.
