As a Brazilian, I thank you very much for your interest in our culture. But people in general don´t know the difference between the Latin rythms (Rumba, Salsa, etc..) and the real Samba. That´s why it´s so important to show it as it must be. Take a look at the link, it shows the real Samba (song and dance)!!

Samba is so difficult to learn for most people when you try to pick it up in real time. I even told some of my students having trouble with the step, there is a girl on YouTube that will have you Samba -ing in 2 minutes. : )

now this is REAL SAMBA! ignore all those other videos with spanish music and this so called "ballroom samba". NO! samba is not a ballroom dance!! the only samba that could be moderately considered ballroom would be samba de gafiera!

These training videos would be much more helpful if the person was filmed from the back side...then the steps would be followed mentally in order, not having to flip them into reverse...duh...at least that's how I learned the latest dances as a kid right there on the dance floor.
